This song brings back so many memories. I lived during the disco era (before and after) and this was one of our favorites. We closed the discos every Saturday night. I miss those days. I am now 80 and still enjoy the great music from that era. I wish I could relive it. Get up and boogie now and enjoy life.

This is song I listen to when i was at the bottom of depression. It gains me strenght, power and braveness to step up. From the singer- Gloria Gaynor, my music goddess, the music band looking happily at each other to the audience, they truely enjoy the music. I think my country needs to learn a lot about it. I don't see too much excitment or sincerity when the audience of my country listen to a song. If they do, maybe it is just from pop concert or rap contest.
