one thing you could probably do is switch up the moves. Like a decent set would probably be protect, bug buzz, icy wind, and facade, which is a neutral moves against fire types and flying types.

If you want to do this challenge yourself, here is a difficulty rating Easy most game, average champ: Pick Scorbunny For hard most game and easy champ: Pick Sobble For average most game and Hard Champ: Pick Grookey
You might be able to beat Shield with a Snom but Sword is another story. The Gym Leaders in their introduction tells me you're playing the Shield version where Gym 6 is Ice types. Sword has Rock types and Gordie and his Coalossal which has a Fire/Rock typing is a death sentence for Snom.

I Just Noticed He Chose Shield To Avoid The Rock Gym, and chose scorbunny as his starter to avoid his rival having a fire starter mon and forcing hop to have grookey who is weak to bug type, and guess what?, snom is a bug type, good play mike, good play.
in runs like these i usually try to choose the rival to have a pokemon stronger than me, like in a bug swsh run i'd pick grookey so hop'd have a scorbunny. i'm so smart.

one thing you could probably do is switch up the moves. Like a decent set would probably be protect, bug buzz, icy wind, and facade, which is a neutral moves against fire types and flying types.
Plus facade is better with Burned effect

You might be able to beat Shield with a Snom but Sword is another story.
The Gym Leaders in their introduction tells me you're playing the Shield version where Gym 6 is Ice types. Sword has Rock types and Gordie and his Coalossal which has a Fire/Rock typing is a death sentence for Snom.
