Super cool being able to finally step feet inside the store after watching the channel so long! Appreciate the help today, most definitely will be taking another trip soon!
( guy who brought the tabletop hockey and Subwoofer in today )
“ My Grandma is very well off”….yet here I stand in a pawn shop 🙄🤔
Yeah doesn't add up
I'd imagine there are a lot of family disgraces out there with substance abuse problems willing to pawn off family items for cash though.
Maybe because the kids a thief and got kicked out of the family for being a miscreant! 🤣
He could have sold it online for way more of it was real
Not a pawn shop but yea i get it
on the guitar guy...when you say why would you do that...usually drugs man...but this pawn shop owners is one of the nicest most down to earth guys ever man...honestly he seems like a really cool guy man...great channel brother
Not sure if the police officer was just using the term as “he steals a lot” or not but kleptomania is a term for people with a mental illness. Having the urge to steal things they don’t even need/want.
I think my favorite part is when these scammers leave at the end of each clip in disbelief 🤣🤣
Man, you have an unbelievable amount of knowledge.
The watch scammer had a laser focus on Pete's face, looking to see if he believed him until he realized the jig was up. 😂
I thought it was Stevo
Alot of grandpa's giving away fake crap to their fake grandkids 😂. Apparently the guitar thief needs more gas for his vehicle. Nice to see the 🐈 make a cameo
What a great guy this dude is! Wish i had his level of patience and understanding
The guitar thief was bold...and his escape on the bike! Right out of a Hollywood movie.
Thinking... They'll never find me!!! 🤦
moronic. He would have been better off stealing from somewhere that didnt have his identity and then just buying the guitar back with the proceeds from the stolen stuff
this bit looked staged af, there's guy there ready with a camera and mic? also they weren't even that concerned about it, they just walked out after him all slow n casual. seemed fake as.
That guitarist Eric Clapto... he probably sold them the bike too, before stealing it back.
Definitely staged. Just dipping there toes into a little reality tv style production.
You are so diplomatic with these jokers. You have a great voice.
First red flag “Its my grandpa’s”
The way you school people and insult them with logic and they’re not sure it’s freaking awesome. Keep making videos dude I love them. I just subscribed.
You are a much better person then I. You know they are BSing you, their story constantly changes and in some cases you call them out. I hate scammers and thief’s. TY for sharing this footage and for being so calm.
So much respect for the store for not buying stolen stuff. That is not a good way to make money and you know this and I appreciate that very very nice.!! 👍
no legitimate pawn shop would buy stolen goods.
The police can take it away if a report is lodged and verified, and they're out of money.
if it's also found that they did not do due diligence to identify the rightful owner of the item, whether deliberately or through negligence, they could be fined/lose their license
It's not really legal to buy stolen stuff. If the cops came in looking for it and they had it, they could take it and the store is out that money.
Someone please explain how they figured it was stolen.
@@albertlwj I would assume if they did it enough, they could face felony charges for receiving and selling stolen goods.
@@FalaqX. Never used, still in retail packaging, boxes not opened (the cable tie is still on the case), multiples of the same item, other factors.
The first guy was wearing immitation apparel from head to toe.
What?! No way! That was all real Looy Vuton!
@@NickyBlue99
It is spelled Louis Vuitton.
@@fightingtosurvive6527 you missed "immitation". Do you only correct intentional sarcastic mistakes, made in the spirit of levity?
You know when Homer Simpson goes "Doh!",
Looks like a pedo
When life hands you thieves, make great content. Sucks you got robbed but at least you made the best of it in the end. Much love dude❤
New scammer vid from Pete? Stopped what I was doing and clicked immediately!
Same here
@@provisionalhypothesis yeah I quickly figured that out lol. It’s all good though
It's not new content, all have been posted and reposted before.
Yea I think Pete messed up and posted the wrong video
@@silverzales1980no it’s a compilation
The guy bringing in the AP for $1900 is hilarious 😂
And this was the first video of you guys that I’ve ever seen. Super interesting content!
Love the content. You deal with some real winners!
And you have a great sense of humor.
"These were my grandpa's tools", but he never used the tools, What!
They must have had a falling out with their fence. Either that or they laughably tried to get more money for their stolen items.
their isnt a constructin guy around that buy s tools and dont rip the box open before getting to the truck lol
They didn't even open the box wtf
@@mmohr23Kind of like how you ripped open that English book when you bought it huh?
Why you gotta be a dick about someone's spelling and grammar??
Part 2 popcorn ready! Great content and keep them coming.
Hopefully they aren't repeats
Pete, I love the way you look into the camera with disgust at the bare cheek these people have, them thinking you don’t know what you’re talking about.🤣 Thank you for your wealth of knowledge over the years. Whenever I’m over in the US, I will definitely come visit.👍🏻
Its so wild to me how good you are at spotting fake stuff. You must have so much random knowledge in your head thanks to this job haha
The evil look you got from the one guy selling "Grandpa's" tools. That was definite intimidation as they left. Right decision to decline buying them.
This channel is way more entertaining than any reality tv crap
your original compilation of scammers is how I found you, and I'm here for it!
4:17 bet he’s gonna walk around telling people he’s wearing a 30k watch 😭😂😂
this is the first ever video I have seen on this channel and I think you have a timeless cool quality about these videos so keep it up.. I saw 95% of it so good going. the guitar thief was my favourite. Thanks and congrats on such a wonderful channel. You seem so self assured , its quite a lesson for us entrepreneurs.
I’m a reseller now full time but still work as an optician for Walmart. The amount of theft in one year would blow your mind. When the consequence is next to nothing it will just continue to spiral out of control. I was mad for you when I saw that guy take off with the guitar. At least you having your own business can go after them. Even though it is dangerous these days to do that. At work we pretty much have to pay them on the back and say thanks come again. It makes me sick.
The first scam vid a few months ago is how I found this channel. Finally we can see another.
I was wondering, I coulda sworn I saw it a good bit ago. I was like no way I saw this within 9 days it was wayyyy longer 😂
Pete saying leave it with me, im a reputable guy was hilarious
Plot twist: “Grandpa” is actually the alias of a local crime ring
3rd guy has on the scammer dress up kit. Bubble jacket, sweat shorts and small snap back cap!😂
Then walks off with the "Dam, couldn't get him" face...
Song forget the douchey sunglasses
@@AquaticGems Oh yeah!😄
He was trying to get a loan on the item
I want this guy to teach me about watches.
This is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos. Totally hooked and subscribed. When this video is done, I’m checking out your others!!
Fun show. Appreciate the editing and full story explanations. Pet Honey for me
I loveddd the subtle Flex when you showed the kid with the Rolex yours and said see how that flawlessly jus flows the air 😂
I just happened upon your amazing video!!
Awesome!!
New sub here!!
So refreshing to see an honest businessman conduct an upfront, won't deal with stolen tools etc.. days work!!
God bless your whole team!!🕊🙏🐾
Hello from Romania! I just discovered this channel and I love your content! Thumbs up!!!
Romania providing the world with scammers
Don’t let the fked up characters destroy your morals and kind heart plz. Your amazing in my life. Your a true role model
Damn, my grandpa just left us a bunch of Timex. Where are all his Rolex watches and brand new modern tools??
These people must have the same rich grandpa.
Yeah, but are you sure it's a real Timex?
Rolex with a Quartz movement made me spit my coffee!🤣🤣
Oysterquartz: AM I A JOKE TO YOU??
(yes you are XD)
Rolex manufactured the Oysterquartz collection from 1977 until the early 2000s. During that time, Rolex made an assortment of Oysterquartz references, divided into Oysterquartz Datejust and Oysterquartz Day-Date lines.
Instant giveaway. I bought a fake Rolex in New York. It was a decent watch, but it was gaudy as hell. I gave it to my grandfather as a gag. He was a former jeweler so he appreciated the con.
If I were you, I'd instantly delete my comment and buy a moka, as nothing beats true Italian coffee.
@@andyonthemoon Yes, nothing beats a "moka" except for maybe a mocha..
Whoever edits ur videos did an awesome job by adding that metal gear solid alert sound 😂
I also liked how u took some responsibility for the lock case. We dont see people doing that as much anymore
LMFAO! Anyone with a REAL AP would NEVER accept $1900, or $4500 lol.
Shows it wasn’t real, and “grandpa” would know that whether he was, “very well off” or not.
Especially if “grandpa” was a watch guy.
1:53, he pulled that up from watchfinder. I visit it often lol
He said he sold his “hybrid”. Hybrid what?
“My offer would be 7K. But I have test it.” AKA, I gotta test you.
Guitar guy had no problem taking your original offer on the fender. He’d obviously stole it from someone else. Guys a clepto.
Or fell into drugs and sold his only valuable item
More than likely fake. I see them DAILY online. People post on the Fender forum asking about the guitar they bought, only to find out it was originally sold on Ali Express smh. And nothing on it is genuine Fender anything.
No one sells a 1958 Stratocaster for $1300. More. Like $13000 thirteen THOUSAND.
He doesn't even play. I can tell by the way, he holds the guitar.
@@J.C... Exactly!
The guy doesn't even like guitars. But he just has to ... Heck, even his beard is fake.
Wow, I've already seen all of these. I must be addicted to your videos!
He said in the beggining it was a replay cos so many people wanted to see them ;)
I’m guilty too! 😵💫 addicted to weird YT! 🤣
I’ve been waiting for another one of these comps😂🙌🏾!
camera guy had probably been waiting for a moment like that chase scene! 😂 awesome stuff brother. hate that you guys have to go through all the headaches of dealing with scammers, but i guess it comes with the territory.
Lucky for you, you and your staff are knowledgeable and you do your due diligence.
If it seems to good to be true, it probably is!
Thanks for the entertainment brother!
Well wishes
Keep it coming with these scammer videos. We love it
This was fun watching. So happy you got your guitar back!
love your content man, something bout authentic folk just doing business is so entertaining
i like the little b-roll footage with the music ,its like a pallet cleanser or a cold drink after eating something spicy .
Gotta love Pete! So cool, so respectful. So certain about all of these scammers. Great job Pete! Really enjoy how u dismantle the scammers! Love it!!!
I agree on the two gentlemen selling “ Grandpa’s New Power-tools..”but no dust on them unused, one is sealed!..but since 2020 with all the videos I’ve seen (Not insinuating they are stolen)…people walking into Home Depot and grabbing up tools..I would be hesitant to
They were absolutely stolen . Nobody buys new tools and dosnt use them. If they didn’t want them they would just return them and get their money back.
Your patience is next level
The most honest pawn broker in America anti clickbait titles always.
These are all locked up...but the one by the door with a $1000 guitar we left unlocked 😂
A real '58 strat would probably be worth at least 10 times that amount.
looks fake. innit?
Probably a re-issue
Do any scammers just say, "Hey, I had to try, Pete!"
You should put a ‘bing bong’ above the door so you can hear people coming in. Another Wicked vid. 👍
7:07 I would’ve said ‘Show me a photo of the shed and all the tools inside and I’ll buy.’ They were planning on unloading hot tools they didn’t have yet.
The repeat with the first guy was fun to see again. All bedazzled in LV but somehow clueless
Thanks for confirming - I THOUGHT I'd seen that interaction before.
@@Robutube1 All of these interactions are from previous videos, it's a compilation of the scammers he's encountered
