This video is a step by step tutorial on setting an 1176 style compressor to achieve a -3db gain reduction. I am using a Klark Teknik KT-76 for this example but the approach is the same for a Universal Audio 1176 and any 1176 FET style clone. #compressors

Looks like it's 4:1 since the "4" is pushed in on the ratio strip.
