will the "off" button bypass this unit? maybe i am a dummy but i cannot find this info anywhere.. i have one on the way and i am not sure if i can bypass this thing when i get it (haha) please do let me know, it would be great.. thanks!

Hello @vkay121. Congrats on your purchase of this great unit. The "off" button doesn't really bypass the audio. What the off button does is disengage the compressor's actions or functions. When the Lin76 is off, none of the controls on the unit will affect the audio signal that is passing through it. If you want to bypass the unit just mute your monitors or use some type of external bypass switch.

@@RichGearShop thanks this is helpful. Turns out the effects loop on my preamp is switchable so that will save the day for now. I will ask local techs around if a hard wired bypass can be installed

hi there, can you please help me figure out what power supply do i need with this. I am not able to figure out if this unit want 12 volts of AC or DC current and should the tip be center negative or positive. I am in India and i have to buy a new power supply for this anyway.. after getting no response multiple queries sent to lindel support , I think i may have to bank on community support on this :)

@@vkay121 The Lin76 uses a 12VAC power adapter or power supply. I am not sure about the tip being center negative or positive. As long as you get the proper power supply 12 volts of
      AC(12VAC) you should be fine.
