I was concerned about heat or punctures happening to the air hoses so I protected them with wire loom which is made to protect wiring. They worked great I had to buy 2 different sizes cause in the main engine bay I kept both hoses in one big wire loom I think 1/2 inch and inside under the dash I used a smaller size for the individual hoses and it looks clean and now double protected. Cause if one of those hoses springs a leak or won’t hold the pressure you won’t be able to open the hood. That sucks but I just got the wrangler 392 and couldn’t use the mopar key lock cause the front camera is in the way so this was the next best thing. I don’t like those cheap latches with keys. But thanks for the video it helped me out.

Incredibly detailed installation and video. You made it look simply easy. And thanks for providing the link to purchase the item. Have you thought about putting a Sunrider soft top on your Jeep to replace the freedom panels, and what do you think about the Sunrider soft top? I have a Jeep and was considering a Sunrider soft top and wanted an independent opinion on it.

Thanks for watching. Hopefully it was informative. I personally take my hard top on and off a few times a month when the weather is nice. The sunrider would complicate that too much for me. If you invest in a “rollnjack” like I did then taking the top off and on is a breeze. Hope that helped. Cheers!

However after the install I notice that the airlines still on front of the jeep which you can see.. if the thief cut the air line will do that release the hose pressure and left the lock mechanism open? Keep the great work Thanks

No, there is not a constant pressure in those two hoses so it wouldn’t matter. I highly doubt anyone would even notice the hoses. If someone really wanted to get under the hood they could use a sawsall. Thanks for watching.
