I really miss the shell sounds from this game though. For some reason, the empty cases sounds got removed from the latest ones and... doesn't feel the same for some reason. I want my shell sounds dammit!

The first FPS ever existed for most people. This was way ahead of time as their animations for each gun is so distinct and iconic - also strangely smooth and lifelike. Everyone of us kept tabs on each other to remember every firearms till the next internet cafe meet. 😢 good old times.

they're not developers of valve. It's a modded game made by two people, Minh lee and Jess cliffe. This is before 1.6 and putting on steam. Beta to 1.5 is a modded game from Half Life, if you see "Change Game" you can literally play any modded Goldsrc games.
This is due to the fact akimbo in CS games act as a single weapon, and in CoD akimbo weapons act independently, and because of that, reload animations are hard to manage due to how they are coded. The TEC-9 akimbo in MWII is the closest to having an "on-screen" akimbo reload, due to the fact the user props them under the armpit. Hope it is clear, CS' akimbo acts as a single weapon, while CoD's acts as two separate entities, and code wise it is way more difficult to implement an on-screen reload in the latter rather than the former.
Glock in this version is different than 1.6
