Thank you for this clear and concise tutorial. I do have a question regarding Star Wars Arcade Trilogy on the Steamdeck. It is the only game that I have been unable to get “running”. Are there any changes or alterations required to fix the issue? Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated
This might be a bug and a possible solution is to reset the Steam ROM Manager config like shown here: emudeck.github.io/tools/steamos/steam-rom-manager/#how-to-reset-steam-rom-manager
Good video I'm tearing my hair out I can't get model 2 or 3 to work with Xbox controller in game the controller works fine when loading the emulator up?
When I run a Model 2 game I get a pop-up that says "First time launching the Model 2 Emulator. Downloading protonfixes. please be patient, this may take a while" and nothing happens. Any idea how to fix? followed all instructions for the installation, and reconfigured/updated the M2 emulator on emudeck manager
So there is this Reddit post in which they mention this issue and a possible fix: www.reddit.com/r/EmuDeck/comments/1cr943w/model_2_emulator_will_not_work_please_help/ They also mention in this post that the team at Emudeck is aware of this and working on a fix.
Preferentially, this video should have been uploaded at 60fps, as color and *fast motion* is a strong component of SEGA arcade games (I liked the video to help with channel growth though, dw)

I did everything you said but it doesn’t let me control some games with the track pad, how do I set them up?
For some reason, I installed the Sega Model 2 emulator, but it doesnt show up in the Parsers menu in Steam ROM Manager. What do I do?

Try with a different set of roms. We suggest trying one at a time to see if it works.

Yes, we kind of dropped the ball on that one. We promise 60fps for the next Sega video.
I can't play model 2 on my sd via emulation station.i put the roms on model 2 rom.for model 3 it can play.
