      @@darvoid66 It's kinda of crazy that his second time using water color (that we know of), is so much better than some other water color artists I've seen. Of course that's subjective, but his use of it looks so professional.

    Im really glad you make videos. You have given me the courage to be creative again and to continue making art. Before I started watching you i was afraid to be creative cause i had produced some things that didnt settle well with me. I had not been very mentally well at the time and am doing much better now. I just really want to say thank you for making these videos.

      Laela Aldona I had the same exact experience! I haven't been well for awhile, and I lost my creativity. I feel like Peter has brought it rushing back. Now I'm excited to try making art again!

      Laela Aldona he's really good at that. I love to make art but I'll go through long periods where I don't make anything, then I watch his videos again and I need to make something new! He's so great :)

      Laela Aldona Similar experience here, especially with watercolor. I have been getting so frustrated with it lately to the point where I put it away for months, but this video has encouraged me to try it again. This is one of his best pieces too, imo.

    "because (colors) are all so great and it's all so situational" brought such a serene and genuine smile to my face, because "all colors are great" on its own is a lovely sentiment that i love to hear people say, but describing it as "situational" is something ive never heard before and it's so accurate that it just sent a nice wave of feelgood over me

    I love the way this painting makes me feel and I can't stop looking at it. If I were to purchase any piece of art this would be it. I could spend hours following around the line and watching the colors melt into each other. What a fantastic place you've made!

    every time I look at your art I always find some sort of dream like swirling city that's distorted in a way, I can always find an ocean, some clouds, trees, and even some weird alien like buildings to top it off. of course we can never know what you truly see when you draw/paint but I like how us humans can interpret such great things from a rather weird piece of paper and color.

    Those paints wont' dry 100%....they are made with honey so they stay a bit tacky but they re-wet and reactivate really well. I have the pure pigment mijellos and they are my go to paints.

    Peter... when you tried to pronounce the word "Arches" correctly.... you accidentally said "ass" in German haha the German for ass is "Arsch". I'm dead 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    What a fabulous gift! You are great to watch.With regards to watercolours, I have learned that the quality of paper is the most important thing (even more so than the quality of paint.) Don't be afraid to use the good china-( opps... I mean paper). I always tell myself to "paint like I don't need the money". I love your creative spirit!

    Found you, stumbled upon you, clicked on happenstance -- a couple months ago, and haven't stopped since. Your videos, for lack of a more intellectually impressive description, make me HAPPY. :). They make me remember that art is about just doing, just getting out there and letting the inside out. Not getting bogged down in the how, but getting excited in the experience.     When you said Arches Paper the French way it sounded a lot like "Arsch" Paper. "Arsch" is German for "ass".

    I think this is some of your best work. Revisiting this idea of watercolor base and then refining the shapes with a fineliner, is a must! Doing this in your style was breathtaking for me personally.

    its fun watching you be a bit awkward with the idea of water colour cause I normally only work with it and pen and ink is a tad terrifying for me. its cool to realize that someone who can be so experienced in one medium can be so awkward about another and also helped me realize that i really dont have to be good at pen and ink and i can stick to water colour if i want. what you made was absolutely lovely though ❤ and that in itself was encouraging for me to try new mediums even if im uncomfy
