Danie, what you’ve done is BREATHTAKING! I’m really happy to have been able to contribute in my own small way to this amazing project. Working with you was an absolute pleasure, truly! Congrats on this incredible work, and thank you for your contagious good vibes!
Brilliant. The use of space and how practical and useable those cabinets are will serve you so well forever. Sometimes people really get too specific with their storage spaces, measuring out a spot for this and that specific item but that is not sustainable. Especially with supplies like these, the items and their sizes and what kind of containment they need changes all the time and what you made will allow you to adjust the inner jigsaw puzzle endlessly. And so easy to use!! I love the pull out boxes. You can SEE everything in there unlike shelves where things constantly get lost to memory. The colour is such a happy colour as well. It’s refreshing. ❤
I also thought this was such a a good use of space. Were this in my craft space I would organize these by work type so I could pull out the "sewing cabinet" and have it ready to roll to my work space. The top shelf is a good height for work flow!
@Stasichaney I thought the same regarding categorizing carts to activity so that it could be rolled to her work area. That is why was thinking it may have been better to have wheels that pivot on at least one end.
I actually had an uncle Bob and he was a really good guy. Every time you say, “Bob’s your uncle” I think of him and I smile. Please don’t ever stop saying this.
@@moda78z1000% agree 😅😢 I’ve stopped watching because the music stresses me out. Came here to see if it’s changed,. It’s a little better but still too much
OMG no drop cloth! You are one brave lady. I cannot paint anything, no matter how small without getting paint all over myself and anything else! Beautiful job, those storage units will be so useful!!!
I think she has mentioned in another video before, that that's kind of what she wanted. A space that would reflect that she puts in creative work in there. I THINK I remember that, but don't quote me on it. 😅
As someone who is a DIY girlie myself, I am so, so very proud of you. Not only did you have to measure, cut and build it all, but you also had to lug it up the stairs yourself. You are a rockstar! I can't say that I would want that vibrant green in my living room, but it's absolutely perfect for a creative space. The door is GORGEOUS and I can't wait to see it installed.
Wowwee wow wow wow!!! This is arguably the best use of slanted wall space I have ever seen! The fact that it looks so much like built in cabinets but is the most convenient rolling storage system, completely blows my mind! Bravo and standing ovation for you, Danie! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Danie, I say this with all of the love: please don't ever leave us for two weeks again. Those were the two longest weeks ever 😂😂. I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we really missed you! Hot/cold combo ready. Let's do this.
I'm obsessed! As someone who has made the color green their entire personality, I 100% approve of that fabulous color. And don't even get me started on the door! Perfection!
I had to go back and rewatch to find the stool. Couldn't agree more! It appears to have the green plus the blue that she was considering. Is there a red or salmon color in the stool?
Wowsers, congrats on the fantastic storage. As soon as I saw the doors being attached to the carts, I was imagining some peg board or hooks on the inside of them for extra storage of cords or rulers, etc. ❤
Just WOW!!! I know it’s just a closet…but it’s literally the most Gorgeous Closet build I’ve ever seen…I’m Obsessed!!!❤ Individual Free standing roller systems that come together to make what looks like one solid built in closet!!! Like Mind Blown! 🤯
Adding lights inside the cupboard that turn on when you pull out a door would bring this DIY to the next level. There are magnetic lights that turn on when the magnet is pulled apart and turn off as it is put back together so those can work or if you want to add a strip light to the inside that you can turn on or off from the outside that is another option. There are many different ways to bring bright light to this dark corner and I am sure that if anyone can figure it out it would be you. Winter is coming so sunlight will become less available as we enter the deep cold months. Getting a jump on the lighting now will allow you to be a little less bothered by the lack of sunshine outside in the future.
OMG, I was gonna suggest _exactly_ this solution! It would make it so much easier to locate items in the cupboard, especially in the coming months (or if one were to work late). just make sure not to tuck any lights up under that front strip so it won't be able to cast the light outwards into the open drawer-carts.
Wow! Just WOW! That’s awesome! The color. The design. The whole thing! Just ❤! Great job! I’m so glad you’re back! Now that door is going to be amazing! I’m so proud of you!! How incredibly inspiring you are! ❤
Absolutely amazing work! Also really appreciate you sharing the project total at the end. It not only helps viewers understand the cost if they do something like this, but helps bring attention to why professionals charge so much. Just the materials alone is quite a bit!
Spaces and storage that are designed for very specific needs and pretty to look at?! Danie, you knocked this one out of the park!!! That green gives me life!!
Oh my - what a gorgeous accent to your new studio! Love that you picked the emerald green - it's so beautiful. Great work Danie - so amazing to see your vision come to life.
Sitting on my porch on a sunny fall afternoon in Bavaria and enjoying a new Danie video. It is always a pleasure to „meet“ you. What a wonderful person you are. Now I grab a coffee and go on watching. Greetings and all the best to you and all your fans out there in the world. 🤗
Pretty amazing! What I really like about this method of organizing is that you can take each cart fully out and roll it wherever you need your materials to be in your studio, and then roll it back without having to carry the boxes off the carts. The green reminds me of community art studios. I could see one storage cart/locker per student somewhere people share a creative space, but it's all for you!
