Notes:
This part will snap off overtime or will break from mishandling. Don't panic, it is an easy fix. Just remove the old one and snap in a new one. Problem solved.

Great videos, sir - just subscribed. So had an issue on my Polaris 380 where the post that holds the float broke off due to weathering so replaced my feed pipe as instructed in your video. Vac moves vigorously throughout my pool w plenty of pressure and movement but filter bag no longer puffs up and there is no suction occurring w the unit? The water jets on the underside of the unit spray a strong stream of water upward into the bag when I lift the unit out of the water but when I drop it back in, doesn't appear to be enough to fill the bag and I feel little to no suction from the bottom opening. Suggestions? Thanks!
Double check that the o-ring is seated correctly in the feed pipe. That is an odd issue.
@@SPL Dis-assembled the unit again yesterday and checked for loose hoses, trapped debris that might be impeding the water flow to the upfacing suction jets. Unit does pick up fine sediment but larger debris like leaves, dirt, fine pebbles - forgetta bout it. It did prior to installing new feed pipe and I rechecked its assembly, making sure the black washer is present and creating a water tight seal... Played w the tail pressure screw and found reducing tail movement does seem to increase suction a tiny bit but still at a loss as to how to increase/restore the normal suction pressure on my Polaris 380... ;-(
@@SPL Eureka! The ole "clean thrust jet openings w a paper clip" trick restored most if maybe all of my Polaris 380's vacuuming power! Filter bag is puffing up nicely today and unit is actually picking up larger debris - many thanks!!
i have a question. i have a Polaris 380. but one of the pipes that go to one of the jets have come loose, and i don't know how to put it back in place. do you have any suggestions how to fix it? thanks. :)
Sarah Abdo A zip tie works good. I don't think Polaris sells there plastic clips. Your saying one of the tubes is loose on the inside bottom?
