If it kept your core cooler in the temperatures we've been having then I think it's working really well. Also if you are experiencing a comfortable ride then you're not distracted and with all your gear on then you're still well protected. Both of which must translate to a safer ride as well. Now if there was only a way you could throw some bacon on the top of your helmet and crack an egg then you could've had brekky when you stopped at the servo.🤣
Hi Jeff, thanks for watching and commenting. The 40C mark is probably the max for the cooling vest. I was nice and comfy around the torso up to that temperature. As for the brekky idea, I’m inspired! There must be a way to attach a small grill to the helmet. 🤔
@@TheNakedBikers Hahaha...Absolutely. Market the idea to Shoei and you're rich. Lol, just remember who inspired you when you're on your way to fame and fortune (mainly fortune)😂 Have a great New Year.
Hello ! Nice test ! I have a question : do you know if i can wear an airbag over this cooling vest. I intend to buy both so I can ride cool and safe 😉 Thanks and sorry if my english isn't good.
Hi Florian, thank you for watching and for your question! Your English is very good. I don’t know if you are able to wear an airbag jacket over the cooling vest. I suggest you put your question to Macna or the airbag manufacturer. They should be able to advise of any potential issues. If you are enjoying our content, we’d love it if you subscribed.
Hi Phil Thanks for watching and commenting! A resounding yes! It does make a difference. I wouldn’t choose to ride out beyond 36C. The jacket will cope with that temperature.
Remember that a high humidity will result in slower evaporation and less cooling effect. So in some african countries with high humidity you will have little cooling effect. @@philipTOMPSETT
Hi @andersenchiangmai Thanks for watching and commenting! Here in Perth in Western Australia we get very minimal humidity, so the jacket performs well. I can’t comment what it’s like in a humid environment.

@@TheNakedBikers perfect thanks. I’m off to Uganda next year and this looks ideal👍🏻👍🏻
Enjoy the adventure! Putting chilled water in also helps.

Is it any different from cheaper vests mate?
Hi @getawayz1
Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately, I can’t answer that question, it’s the only cooling vest I have purchased and tested.
works inside houses ?

I wore my cooling vest inside a cafe and felt the effect. So yes, can be of benefit indoors!
