Reset service light SAAB 93 1.9 TID 2007

Just a quick video showing how to reset service light on a 2007 SAAB 97
Turn key to on , use steering wheel controls , go to settings , find reset service press and hold set and that's it.

That dont work on mine it just resets it for the time im in the car then when i get back in the car and put ignition on again its back on

I know this is late but I have the same car but when I go to reset it it’s blank like nothing is showing for quality or anything

I noticed you have a check engine light. Does that come on when it's time for a service, or does that indicate something else in this case?

no light will come on as you turn ignition on but it should go off as you start engine if it doesn't you must have an engine fault

Thank you. I was trying to decide whether it was just coincidence that this check engine light and service message started at the same time. I will have it scanned soon.

Mine just shows this > - - - doesn't do anything
