Couple advice tips on the Gorgon: reinforce the body, it breaks quick. If you upgrade use a 3665 brushless or equivalent. Wheelie bar is a plus when upgrading also. I have a blast with mine, but expect to double the cost of the vehicle when upgrading if you go name brand parts.
I have to warn you about the gorgon's bottom battery tray it sounds cool at first. Unfortunately after some jumps and the parts starts to wear out it will open up itself and yank the battery and the cables out...
@@maszkalman3676 there are holes in the battery bay to use zip ties or twist ties to help keep the cover on. It’s a bad design, but at least they had the foresight to put in a “lock” fix.
@@jalee6587 Yeah buy a new battery tray after a few weeks because from the first batch of the gorgons that's how long the battery tray lasted even after small jumps....
@@njokidd I am still putting the Gorgon through its paces but yea I have had several 2wd and 4wd stampedes and have to agree great trucks and very tough thanks for the comment

Haven't had that problem. If you do have a worn tray just buy a new battery tray.

Gorgon is garbage.. Stampede is tried and true.. new stampede come with newer clip design they tough , cheap and parts are easily replaced

Gorgon is way better then that stampede. Stampede doesn't even come with ball bearings. Gorgon is 20x more durable as well.
