      I ship my detector and my shovel to my hotel or a friend or family member in the area.

    I bought a bounty hunter tracker iv and love it
    Now time to move to a bigger detector i was thinking on mini lab equinox 800 what other detector do you recommend Russ?

    The Bounty Hunter 2200 doesn't work in wet beach sand, works great in the dry sand along the blanket line.

      Hello James- Yes, the Discovery 2200 and the Tracker IV will struggle in wet salty sand, but, like you said they will do VERY well in the dry sand. To hunt wet salt sand, a detector must have ground balancing capabilities and beyond that they need the ability to ground balance to salt. The Time Ranger Pro (last detector in this video) does both.     The only thing I disagree with, are the batteries. Alkaline is almost always preferred, rechargeable are acceptable.

      Hello B- You are correct Alkaline are always the best. However, the Bounty Hunter manuals now are starting to say that you can use rechargeable.
