No argument, the best operator is Dylan the pilot. The man that is responsible for dropping off our favorite operators into battle. Weren't for him around, how would we get our farming materials with no ops deployed?
Dokutah is technically the most overpowered operator available. They can one shot any enemy given they have enough HP. The downside is that hypergryph loves trolling and so sometimes the Dokutah just has 1 hp. The fact that the Dokutah is unable to heal HP due to their 1st talent makes it even worse.
I think this video really showcases the different ways an operator can be broken. As much as we can agree that they're the top league, actually deciding if utility is better than UNGA BUNGA DAMAGE is up to personal preference which is why I believe Glaucus's ability to bind everything in range makes her the premier blue woman and you can convince me otherwise
. Even if can permastall enemies with 4 m hp... HOW LONG YOU WILL KILL THEM?😂 It s like try to clear 7-19 but without any tru damage source and mines. I just stall patriot on 1 FUCKING tile for 30 minutes till weedy finally kill him with her micro pushes. Also if you need infinity stall team . Manticore. Angelina. Weedy. Mostima. Dusk ( her s3 can hold some mobs for...60 second😂) and you also can put out Ceobe s1 and glaucus . But it really takes quite a long time
the fact chalter didn't require too much investment to be efficient, made her the most broken out of the bunch. you also need to remember the Spreadshooter subclass traits is very strong too!
Would also like to add Skalter on the list, the most based bard unit in Arknights, esp for an average player All her skills are basically: Heal + 50% DMG mitigaion > perma DEF and ATK buff > ATK megabuff, so you can pick and choose what role she will play With her S2 you get a boost on any stage of the game, as it helps your 4* deck to reach certain breakpoints, increase DPS of ranged units and DEF of ground units - while giving passive heal (basically deleting existence of chip damage), increase healing potential of other medics and if you're at the endgame, further buff your already strong 6* Personally can't tell you enough how many times she helped me as a new player, lacking in nukers and solid DPS operators which is why she's always on my support list
Surtr just needs the ICU team though. Edit: I actually managed to get Bagpipe to max potential for some reason. I remember farming for red certs to get at least one potential.
Schwarz is the best, while yes the 4 operators mentioned are good I want to address my arguements again chalter. Her dp and sp cost are incredibly high while Schwarz has half of both and a fast redeploy sniper comparable to April. A lot of sniper only squads use Schwarz for her versatility as well as her support buff. One thing I know for certain is that if gummy was a sniper, it would essentially be the ling of snipers where every sniperknight record would be taken over by her.
The best Operator is Kal because she would go so in depth explaining how, no one would be left alive to argue. Operators aside, bullying that poor Paolumu with a Spread HBG is a war crime.
Surtr is who you call when you need a guy killed. Chenalter is who you call when you need the entire room killed. Ling is who you call when you need the entire city killed. And you best best Bagpipe was helping get the DP for all three of the others~
One additional negative (and quite an important one) I don't think you mentioned (enough) about Ling's s3 is that she is quite the slow starter, even outside of cc with increased dp/redeploy time risks. Dp costs can indeed be solved with vanguards, but with a 20 sec redeploy of each smol dragon she's quite vulnerable to strong initial rushes and/or heavy hitters that can take out a smol dragon in the 20 secs you need before being able to chonkify it. Though there's also the small positive that they have 'a' form of hp regeneration, in that chonkifing them instantly gives them full hp again, no matter how low their hp was. Also the +100% for the chonker isn't based on the chonker stats themselves but on the smol version instead, so in her s3 the smol dragon does get double atk and def, but the chonker only gets about (100% of the smol dragon's stats≈) +65% of the chonker's stats.
Ling’s “slow start” issue applies to about 15-20 of all stages in the storyline of arknights. its not really the achilles heel level drawback people believe it to be, and you can always add myrtle to reduce the number of stages where ling isnt viable to almost nil.
Myrtle. 90% of all the high end strategies in the game are only possible because she exists. She literally broke the games basic resource system over her knee and ran off giggling, but she's too cute for anyone to get mad at her for it.
As someone who has not played Arknights (but is considering, maybe), I see this as a good companion video to the What Makes a Bad Operator. Yeah, they are 6 months apart, but this one that came first does show (indirectly) what makes a good (or mostly broken, in these cases) unit in Arknights.

I subbed and liked. The best operator is clearly Bagpipe. I mean, look at the size of that forehead. Clearly, nobody else matches Bagpipe in sheer girth and thickness
Judging by pure power (not accounting for the cost), I'd argue that it's probably between Bagpipe and Ling. Ling because she's a literal powerhouse that can do whatever... Really well. It's really hard not to find a way to use Ling, something that can to some minor degree cripple Surtr and to an even more minor degree Chalter. And Bagpipe because she's the half of the single most reliable strategy of Arknights, the infamous Flagpipe combo. Really the only thing preventing me from giving it to Bagpipe is that she's only half of Flagpipe, the other half obviously being the most broken archetype of the game, Flagbearers.
You know? We never escaped the times of Pokémon red and blue. Since we have two good blue women and two good red women. Will we get two meta green women to complete the set ?
The one operator I can safely bring to literally any stage ever is Thorn, if you can get his 2nd skill activation you're basically set for the rest of the stage even if you go braindead.
Pretty certain arknights uses seed based RNG, so the RNG ammo return of chen, and bagpipe crits, should only affect your inital stage clear, not the autodeploys,

I don't normally comment on the music in YT videos, but HOLY SHIT BLUE DRAGON OST LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO Seriously, I went from chilling and listening to your videos while I did paperwork to damn near falling out of my chair and tripping over my own feet to verify that yes, it WAS Blue Dragon music that I was hearing. Great video as always, but I'm mainly frothing at the mouth over having a crumb of my favorite niche JRPG jumpscare me on the funny Gummy dude's video
This video nicely shows that despite a lot of discussion and argument on operators that dominate the game, it is still PvE and can often be overcome with low build, niche, or borrowed support, as is done by the content creators of this game. These 4 units may trivialize the game, taking 20 minutes of Supah's life to talk about how they do it, but he still decides to bring his beloved Gmuuy to endgame content as he pleases, and this freedom to play the game makes me love it so much. This video hides great meaning behind insulting the balancing team's mistakes and I'd like to thank you for this realization, Supah. Can I lick Gummy's toes?
Been trying to get bagpipe forever=( I like ling but, she's kinda niche outside CCC+her dying means your game is over xd Edit: never knew you would get a third big guy with lvl 3 module, im happy i watched this vid now lol
The objective truth based on my subjective opinion is that Earthspirit is the best unit in the game, and I will not elaborate further on that. Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk, next time we'll be talking about the health benefits of eating sand.
Thx for including the Scottish potato farmer (can't wait for committing warcrime and gain some PTSD across Terra), and yeah her skin is suckass, i really hoping some bloodline combat or raythean skin for her
As someone too new to E2 Bagpipe, her block of only 1 sucks, and I use Fang, zima, or siege more often. But that is really her only problem. I will definitely use her more once the E2 grind catches up.
ik this is an old comment but yeah the 1 block is still a nuisance for me! however with e2 you can use s3 which will give you +1 block during the duration of it
@@patrickstar8132 I didn't know that, I've been using s2 as a helidrop panic button in addition to the vanguard buffs she gives. I might use Bagpipe differently now.
@@PlatinumKrown yeah it becomes pretty helidroppable once you have it at M3 it only takes 9 seconds for it to be fully charged (usually enough to handle big trash mobs unless it's a HEAVY dog rush map) and with module/pots that can be reduced even further. Definitely something or try out
Executor alter- S3M3 him and you pretty much have a solid lane holder, aoe physical dmg that can ignore def, and heal himself... (and also hot, that's the main point)
I think Bagpipe has dropped out of the running now, with the end of CC and with too many other units outperforming her in IS3 high ascension runs. Though it's hard to say for sure until whatever replaces CC comes out.
Chalter's negative aren't really matter bc of her damage can deal , no needed for high aspd when she can kill boss within 5 shot average , the only weakness she has was high SP cost and high dp cost but once I reach end game , the only remain was sp cost
thorns? have u caught up with the current meta? he has fallen so hard in the meta now. he maybe good in the first few chapter, but later chapter and new event gimmick has all been unkind to him. he wait so long just to charge his skill up, and he probably need someone to babisit him during that time. able to hit air is barely a plus point because in this fast redeploy era or press mlynar skill era any aerial enemies are gone in an instance.
@@huynamvu3035 if you think so it's fine. Just saying my experience with him. From point of view of someone who has completed the whole game and events. He is just helped me a lot. Not as much as Mlynar or Texalter which were 2 only units i bothered to lvl to 90 but still, just place him and your lane is secured forever. And for your question, i don't even know what current meta is and don't really care. In my opinion, in single player games "meta" doesn't really exist more so if it was proven times and times you can clear the game with 4* units. Some units are better than others, yes but do those 20 seconds of faster clear really matter?
I'd be arguing Bagpipe out of the list with a simple argument: Her bennefit, compared to the others in this list is not only subtle, it's also way too niche for common players, there is almost no stage where it makes a noticable difference to have Flagpipe over any other vanguard combo exept high risk CC, even risk 18 with a -50%dp regen can be atteined with myrtle and siege/flametail with some wiggle room. I don't think you can qualify as "one of the strongest operator" when your practical usage is so limited. In the end if you think about it, it's only a 8sec boost for your first myrtle skill early on, afterward you have so much DP her refound is not that impactfull (once again, talking about the content most player engage with, not the 0.00001% masochist-only shit, because in that case, what differecies it from any operator that play a key role in 2/3 clears, like Firewatch in some sniperknight boss clear, there's a point where the gain is TOO specific, the other mentioned operator are stupidly strong no matter the situation) If we talk about operator that made a whole class obsolete I think Mudrock is a way better choice, she totally and undeniably outclass every other deffender and some lane olders like blaze, and is overall busted in most situations, her strenght over other alternaiv is more noticable than bagpipe's.
It's me.

i got Bagpipe on a thorns banner awhile back, i was shocked but turns out she's actually op AF, she's never left the squad. So for me she's the absolute best!
1:49 Can't believe you did ELO dirty
LOOK MA IM IN A RUclips VIDEO
personally my choice for best operator in the game is probably surtr. shes just a magic wand you can point at things to make them die. shes the most braindead of these both as a unit and as a character; shes easier to use than ling and she has so much amnesia shes got too little personality for even skadi fans to twist into a harem waifu. yeah she doesn't work as well for everything (ItW, SN, unblockable enemies, etc) but there's nothing (except aerial units) that she cant do anything to. she works 70 percent of the time, all of the time
and also I don't have chalter or bagpipe or
First time I heard you laugh right there. Kinda caught me off guard
So who is better? A Heated Redhead Stand User, Blue Woman But Wet And Not Blaze,The Chad Wife Potato Farmer or Blue Woman But Drunk Kaiba.
I don't normally comment on the music in YT videos, but HOLY SHIT BLUE DRAGON OST LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO
Seriously, I went from chilling and listening to your videos while I did paperwork to damn near falling out of my chair and tripping over my own feet to verify that yes, it WAS Blue Dragon music that I was hearing. Great video as always, but I'm mainly frothing at the mouth over having a crumb of my favorite niche JRPG jumpscare me on the funny Gummy dude's video

Emperor blade fart says hello

No more No less
Before watching :
Best operator? That operator...I guess.
After watching:
I knew it.
No, Gummy's toes are only for me
max risk moment
Actually, for me, the best operator must be versatile, so, I think that maybe Thorns, Kal'tsit or Penance deserves this title
I watched too much of your videos that l can predict Gummy being named the best miles away
Guess I should call you a toilet, 'cause you saw that sh--t coming
@@SUPAH_SUPAH_SUPAH I that case you can sit on me anytime ;) ... Unironically, somehow that sounded more decently than any script of your videos XD
Been trying to get bagpipe forever=(
I like ling but, she's kinda niche outside CCC+her dying means your game is over xd
Edit: never knew you would get a third big guy with lvl 3 module, im happy i watched this vid now lol
The best operator is clearly a young ursan girl who was traumatised in chernobog, thats right, abs-
who
Absol? Arknights X Pokemon collab confirmed?
I just skipped the entire video to the end portion to confirm that John Arknights is the best.
Welp now we have Walter
you can get to max SSS level with Gummy
clearly the best fucking unit
I knew for sure that the best operator is gummy...I smelled that before even watching
Raiden killing lavasioth with nero padoru
What a time to be alive
Wtf that shrouded hand mention suprised me
So glad i have all of them And by accident too
Another problem ling has is the deployment time between summons, in missions with lots of enemies can be a big problem since you can be swarned easily
Best operator is Goldenglow, I love her and that is what really matter (?
It is, truly
Me: Does a stupid Italian accent.
Supah:
Bagpipe's utility really puts her up there but surtr insane damage just hits harder
I agree, Bagpipe’s skill 1 can be helidropped lol
23:17 A true man of culture 😏👌
*wink* *wink*
...I don't have sibling, yeah! so my parents have to love me
man i hate it when my attacks bounce off that damn fish. i always bring my trusty gunlance against it
hit the head
Nice
I won't lie, Gummy helped me clear LE-8, so facts:
Viva La GMUY
The objective truth based on my subjective opinion is that Earthspirit is the best unit in the game, and I will not elaborate further on that.
Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk, next time we'll be talking about the health benefits of eating sand.
Thx for including the Scottish potato farmer (can't wait for committing warcrime and gain some PTSD across Terra), and yeah her skin is suckass, i really hoping some bloodline combat or raythean skin for her
The best op is just tachanka and only tachanka cause he beat the living crap out of anyone who touches gummy that isnt supah -hotfire-
I believe in 🍳
Thanks SUPAH
alright how is this gonna dissolve into Gummy simping
Definitely something or try out
New challenger approached *lore accurate Mlynar slashes patriot dummy target in half*
Point of video: Just surtr your enemies and gummy your allies
The Yii roast🤣😂
If you don't say gummy is best operator in this video, I will M6 max level gummy in my account
Too bad
Gummy, we all know it's Gummy
Executor alter- S3M3 him and you pretty much have a solid lane holder, aoe physical dmg that can ignore def, and heal himself... (and also hot, that's the main point)
Bagpipe, IMO best unit, Support, Helidrop but not waste DP when retreated , can be Boss Killer, can AFK strat ,2 DP regen each kill.

22:55 The verdict/best operator
I think Bagpipe has dropped out of the running now, with the end of CC and with too many other units outperforming her in IS3 high ascension runs. Though it's hard to say for sure until whatever replaces CC comes out.
Chalter's negative aren't really matter bc of her damage can deal , no needed for high aspd when she can kill boss within 5 shot average , the only weakness she has was high SP cost and high dp cost but once I reach end game , the only remain was sp cost
Elysium is the best.
🙂
i'd argue for Thorns. i don't have him so i depend on support units but he made possible otherwise impossible clreas for me.
thorns? have u caught up with the current meta? he has fallen so hard in the meta now. he maybe good in the first few chapter, but later chapter and new event gimmick has all been unkind to him. he wait so long just to charge his skill up, and he probably need someone to babisit him during that time. able to hit air is barely a plus point because in this fast redeploy era or press mlynar skill era any aerial enemies are gone in an instance.
Then more broken operators appeared in the form of mylnar, sexas , yato, etc and oh my gawd they're multiplying
Best operator is Ceobe. She is so adorable. S2M3 go "dadadadada!".
I'd be arguing Bagpipe out of the list with a simple argument:
Her bennefit, compared to the others in this list is not only subtle, it's also way too niche for common players, there is almost no stage where it makes a noticable difference to have Flagpipe over any other vanguard combo exept high risk CC, even risk 18 with a -50%dp regen can be atteined with myrtle and siege/flametail with some wiggle room. I don't think you can qualify as "one of the strongest operator" when your practical usage is so limited.
In the end if you think about it, it's only a 8sec boost for your first myrtle skill early on, afterward you have so much DP her refound is not that impactfull (once again, talking about the content most player engage with, not the 0.00001% masochist-only shit, because in that case, what differecies it from any operator that play a key role in 2/3 clears, like Firewatch in some sniperknight boss clear, there's a point where the gain is TOO specific, the other mentioned operator are stupidly strong no matter the situation)
If we talk about operator that made a whole class obsolete I think Mudrock is a way better choice, she totally and undeniably outclass every other deffender and some lane olders like blaze, and is overall busted in most situations, her strenght over other alternaiv is more noticable than bagpipe's.
actually gummy is better than mudrock
@@SUPAH_SUPAH_SUPAH obviousely, she is in a tier of her own, I was reffering to regular deffenders.
I sense a significant lack of Passenger
apologies owen-kun
So it's gummy ?
Ya
9:22 Chalter is aoe
Bagpipe for sure cus she's my waifu and no arguments are accepted.
BAGPIPE IS GOD!!!!
best op? we all know it and for that reason im not gonna say who it is but it does start with a G
