Great list ! I would like to add some recommendations on the topic as well: 1) Suzerain - a great political visual novel/strategy game in which you can become a dictator via careful political planning, also has monarchy DLC, which can be played as an absolute monarch ! 2) Crisis in the Kremlin/Ostalgie: The Berlin Wall/China: Mao's legacy - interesting management sims/strategy games where you take the role of the communist party general secretary during the late 80's. A bit rough around the edges (especially graphics), but fun mechanics and lot's of historical info with fun alt-history possibilities. 3) Collapse: The political simulator - play as a party leader in a fictional Eastern European post-Soviet republic trying to navigate it's way to prosperity 4) Rise of The White Sun - the game lets you experience Chinese warlord era of 1920's by managing a warlord of you choise 5) A War of a Madman's Making - not really a dictator game, but gives you an inside of what it is like to be a general under a crazy dictator, who decided to wage "little victorious war". It is free on steam, short, yet leaves an impression.
That was the best one IMO, although, I haven't played 5 or six, seemed to be a steady decline up to 4, so I passed beyond that. Loved the Pirate Cove too and still play that.
Love to have an updated dilemma in Tropica 6. UAP Disclosure. To disclose or not disclose. That is the question. Or, will Catastrophic Disclosure wreck our plans concerning our reverse engineering efforts on a crashed saucer that we wanted to use against the vile Capitalists. 😂
Of the coups that took place in Argentina, all but two were financed by international banks, with the intention of getting Argentina into debt. All the democratic governments that followed the dictatorships were financed by the same people, with the intention of getting Argentina to ratify and continue paying the interest on the debts acquired by the dictatorships. If this game is going to take this into account, then it will be an interesting game. If it is only going to limit itself to repeating the commonplace that the Latin American countries have coups in their blood, and that military dictatorships are something intrinsically ours, then this game is just garbage.

These are all great, only one I haven't played is the last one.
I still play the original Tropico. Often the simple games are the best.
I love your content!
Glad you enjoy it!

Tropico 1 has the superior soundtrack. So good!
I've played 50-ish hours of Rogue State Revolution. I never knew there was an earlier game. Too bad the studio seems to be gone now.
I’m looking for more that focus on guerrilla warfare. Specifically controlling a unit or rebel network.
Basenji, Basenji greatest of Country!
You might also consider Stellar Monarch and Stellar Monarch 2.
My favorite genre
Very nice list, I have Tropico 3 and 4. Viva la revolución, Dictador Agrippa 😁, ty for the video 👍

it would be nice to hear something.
Hi a revolution!
Viva la REvolución.
none of these games had anything to do with dictatorships.
😆🤣😂
