I have to add to this sentiment. I’ve been a music lover my whole life, I’m 33. When I was in the first grade my dad I first played Deja Vu by Crosby Stills Nash and Young. I fell in love so much with that album that as a 7 year old I had a LEGIT NIGHTMARE that I’d never be able to hear the song Our House of that album ever again. I too think my biggest fear is losing all the wonderful music.
My wife of 25 years is moving out; she’s leaving. Time after time I’ve heard “Sara” over 37 years of being a Dylan fan. But today, “Sara” blew open the doors to my heart and I can feel Bob Dylan’s agony singing through the song. Amazing how Dylan could put into music and lyrics exactly how he felt. As I write this, in my heart I feel so much love for Bob Dylan and Sara, and grief, which almost certainly follows Loss of any type.
25 years. That's tough man and it will be a huge adjustment. I'm 3.5 years out now. Grieving is a process and you will go through it. We never forget, but the pain does eventually subside. Hang in there*
It's really something when it happens. When I was 20 a girl I loved with all my heart left me...she just said to me to go away....she didn't want me any more after more than 3 years. May be it's not the same thing that happened to you but...I still feel the pain..and the grief. It's absurd , I know, because I'm 63 now. But that's the way it is. Someone said, talking about ex lovers, they are only slightly beneath one's consciousness by day and always behind closed lids in sleep. Be safe, be strong. A big Ciao! from Italy.
Ooof that gets me every time! It makes me so sad, talking about the children and then the beach being deserted. Art at it’s absolute finest to evoke such raw emotion.

How can one hope to love one'wife with one's whole self if one leaves a piece of himself on the road? This song, this sound is beautiful but painful too because there is love and pain behind.
This song it's getting too painful to listen to.. Especially after I knew that he, soon after the early days full of love in that Portugal of the song, where he conceived his first son, he wanted already to have fun with other women. The pain of this song it is the regret only, for a Madonna placed alone on pedestal.

Sara, Sara
Ya must forgive me my unworthiness.
Now the beach is deserted except for some kelp
And a piece of an old ship that lies on the shore.
You always responded when I needed your help
You gave me a map and a key to your door.
Sara, oh Sara
Glamorous nymph with an arrow and bow
Sara, oh Sara
Don't ever leave me, don't ever go.
Thanks friend 🤘🏼🎶
the silent ending of the film is great
thank youuuuuuuuuu
Very special stuff, thank you! This is definitely inspiring for my new solo music project UV 🙏🏻
SARA WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AS I WAS WHEN I WAS YOUNG BOB HONEY I AM JUST SMOKING AND LISTENING TO YOU
Não entendo nada em inglês. Mas Dylan tem uma voz universal. Depois vejo a tradução, e as letras exprimem, quase sempre, tudo aquele que está em sua voz
Not Madison Square Garden. I was there. Scorcese's documentary covers the tour up to just before the benefit concert done at MSG for Ruben Carter.
Swingin'🐷. You did it again😍
Thank you, oh my God, the version with almost strip of Joan Baez , thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you this is amazing!
So wonderful thank you
I was at there in 1976 Madison Square Garden . Desire was my favourite album . Still have the old vinyl.
Thank you ~ keep it going
5:18 What a heartfelt reaction. Good for her.
Thank you!

This is fantastic, I was at one of the N.Y.C. shows-I'll never forget it.
Bob Dylan a world treasure a galactic treasure for sure!
[11 August 2022] Bob Dylan made me want to be a poet. I owe so much to him.
RTR anything creates shivers . This is s year later..Scarlett's violin pitted against the slight hoarseness in Bob's voice is great .
Only ever been outside Madison Square with a big bloody suitcase. Hanging about waiting to get a train nearby to Canada. October 2013. Saw Bob end of following month in Royal Albert Hall in London. Tempest tour.
One of the seven wonders in the Dylan canon.
One Love Brother, I've survived a brain tumor and am having trouble speaking and can't see well but am going for procedures to help get them back, we will get by, God Willing
"I was too young to know you were doing it right."
He's very passionate and creative. Boy does it come across.
