Bryson, I love your mentality, but more importantly, your heart's desire to help others. The one thing I would try to incorporate into developing a training regimen is trying to make these drills fun. When the main focus is on the fun and joy that hitting amazing shots brings us then all the time and effort behind it isn't seen as "work". That's especially important for kids but even applies to people my age (56) and older.

I can’t imagine thinking practicing golf was boring. Especially when I was young, sun up to sundown I was between the course, range, putting & chipping greens. Then at night I was learning all the information I could about the game, working out to be better, working on my putting stroke, etc. everyday. It’s way more fun practicing & getting good at something than sitting around staring at a tv or a telephone. Unfortunately so many people choose laziness over striving/working to be better whether it’s golf or anything else, especially today with the internet watching others do things has become more popular than actually doing things. Good on this kid for putting in the work.

Bryson, they say timing is everything. I watched this video today and your advice was like gold. Because it is winter where I live, I’ve been working on my simulator most every evening, and over the last couple months got hyper focused on swing fundamentals. I’ve worked hard to learn to hit draws and fades fairly reliably (I’m a solid 8 handicap trending down). I naturally hit draws my whole life, and the fade really escaped me. Getting hyper focused on fundamentals was great work, but I got kind of stuck of what to do next! Then your video comes along, and tonight I spent 90 minutes setting different target lengths, with 20 yard wide targets, and tried to hit 3 fades, then 3 draws into the targets. I started at 170 yards and worked my way down to 100 yards. It is really a challenging drill! I found the third shot to be the hardest, because I would make two solid swings, get the shape and hit the target, and the third was sometimes off…I could feel the pressure build for that third shot. I also took your advice and would go internal when I felt the pressure, calm myself and see the shot. By the end of the session, I was getting 3 of each shot shape type into the target. It felt like a huge win! I also gained some valuable insight into the fades…hitting more fades inside of 10 feet to the pin then draws by a significant margin. Thank you for the great content!

I tried your "multiple times in a row" practice as well as the "if it doesn't work after a few tries, try something else" and can see improved results almost immediately....still a long way to go, but this advice is taking me in the right direction!!!!! Please keep posting this kind of content! ❤❤❤

I have always played the course in my mind while standing on range, visualization is the key for me. I walk at least 20 steps between shots with a minimum of 1 minute between setups to make it feel like actually being on course, same with putting and chipping practice, done in about a hour and half and head home. Grade my practice after getting home.

I do like suffering to get better. I was a bicycle racer. Your hardest opponent is the quitter in yourself. What you are teaching Aidan is mental toughness.

Thank you for making this video. As a new golfer (6 months tops) this was super helpful. Even tho it was out of my league I was able to adapt it to my “play style” and practice routine. It’s helped me “find” my standard shot. Hope u keep making these helpful vids thank you
