    Hi friends, there is no investment recommendation nor any endorsement in this video. This is merely a documentation of what I experienced in this trip. Also please note that the dim sum place is located in Taman Pelangi and not Taman Sentosa

      Dear uncle, the teochew style fish porridge is also yummy. The chicken & mutton soup are hainanese style. Please tell your friend, the river that you saw often rises n sometimes overflow during rainy season. Would like to correct you - from JB CIQ to Pandan if traffic is good you can reach in 25mins. Not 45mins as claimed.

    • @UncleGo
      @UncleGo  Месяц назад

      @@piggymag168 thank you, I have just drop a note to my friend about the river. I will let him see how he plan to do this. Thanks for letting us know that, And also on the fish porridge. No one knows better than the local :) as for the 45 mins. I have taken the distance between Woodlands checkpoint to Pandan on the particular instance when I make the video. I go back to the map again it seems there is a traffic congestion at the Causeway through the road after City Square

    Dear uncle, the dim sum shop u went is NOT Taman Sentosa. You were in Jalan Maju, Taman Maju Jaya. Next to Plaza Pelangi. We Locals call it "newspaper street" as all major newspaper company set up their office there. There is Nanyang siang pau next to Kar Kar Dimsum (one of the worst place for dimsum). Taman Sentosa is 5-10 mins away depending on traffic situation. Google will tell you the truth. The "Southkey" real name is MID VALLEY SOUTHKEY. Anyway, thank you for making this video of my hometown.

    • @UncleGo
      @UncleGo  Месяц назад

      apologies... the dim sum place is kak kak Restaurant as you pointed out. It is an error on my part to point that to Taman Sentosa. I will put it as a correction on my pinned comment. As for Southkey, also bear with that as well. I try to research as much as I could before putting up this video. But as I have not stayed long enough in JB for last many years , mistakes do happen. Of cos its not excuse not to do proper due diligence .

    May I know from Singapore which are the faster buses to reach JB checkpoint .

    • @UncleGo
      @UncleGo  Месяц назад

      For me, I value time more important than comfort and all things else. So personally I take SBS buses (170X etc) than the CW buses. The queue can be long it seems. But the good thing is that the frequency is fast and more options. Of cos you have to prepare to jump into queues which is empty and that the buses might be packed like sardine. For me, it is just getting to JB fast. Nothing else matter to me when I am in that madness

      Yes and no... It is generally very safe to walk around, I do walk quite a distance in this trip alone. But I advise people to be vigilant and you must let people see you are. Like holding your bag while walking on road. That will give any crook a deterrent effect
