Super relate! 😂 made a lot of money mistakes din last 2019 and dami gastusin this 2020 na hindi napaghandaan so totally wipe out din savings ko! 😂😂😂 so new year's resolution for the next year is to save up, and always make sure that each purchases is really necessary. Last year kasi, kain dito, kain doon, gala dito, gala doon. Anyway, Merry Christmas, Thea!

Hi Ms. Thea. I managed to save up Php 250,000 savings from 1.8 years of working. My 1st salary is 20,000 lang per mo. Lasted for 1 year tapos 8 mos na 25-30k per year sa 2nd job. Super tipid ko din po sa sarili ko like lugaw lang palagi dinner haha. Pero tuwing weekends kumakain ako sa labas like ramen and samgup and travel po once a month. Tinitipid ko po sarili ko di po ako bumibili ng branded na damit at sapatos. Bihira din ako bumili ng gamit kasi gusto ko din magsave up ng mabilisan. Kaso this pandemic I invested my entire savings sa Stocks. Alam ko naman po na invest what you can afford to lose pero nung kumikita na ko for a week natempt akong ipasok lahat hanggang sa natalo na sya :( I only save 30k :( super heartbreaking since 9 mos na din akong walang work. Ngayon hirap na hirap na ko magipon :( Sobra akong nanghihinayang :( pero sana maipon ko pa ulit since 23 palang naman po ako.

This video is timely and relevant for me, 'coz I was able to save up 100k this year. I made a goal to try to save 100k by year end, but God is sooo good na reach ko yung desired savings ko before year end, which is around November. (Note: I'm still in my first year sa job ko). It takes discipline and good spending habits para lang ma achieve ko ito. Thank you Thea for this tita talks, mas lalo akong na momotivate na ipagpatuloy ko yung pag save up ng money for the future. ❤ ❤

Super inspiring. I was able to increase my net worth by ~80k in 6 months. This WFH really gave me the chance to save 75% of my salary.
I learned alot, Ms Thea! During this pandemic, i was able to use my skills in baking and sold almost a hundred carrot and red velvet cakes and cupcakes with my sister. One day lang ang balak namin na target magbenta (father’s day) but it lasted for almost 3 months! We only stopped when classes resumed. We really earned and saved a lot haha and we didnt expect the support of people since strict lockdown that time. We might do it again this coming summer! 🤩

So proud to say that I found you long before you reached your 100k subscribers goal and I can confidently say that you are one of my best subscribes. Thank you for being an inspiration. Tumatak sa akin yung shinare mo na you had a bad turn and that you had to go back to square one. I hope I can also recover like you did. I'm in a coffee shop business (Harry Potter-themed cafe in Cebu City) which we started January this year. Unfortunately, the pandemic happened, so my savings were in a way trapped into the cafe while it isn't generating any sales. With your video, I have somehow gotten out of my 'sadness paralysis' (a term I made up to describe how I am feeling when I get overwhelmed by all of the problems coming at me at once). Anyway, after my long MMK drama here, I just want to tell you thank you for giving inspiration, for reminding us that we can learn from our financial mistakes and that it isn't the end of the world yet. 💜💜💜

I have clicked and scrolled out of this video 3 times. Kasi I find it detached na 1 million savings in a year? I have this notion na I won’t be able to relate sa post na to kasi unang una sa lahat my earnings have not even reach 1mil. Pero I’m so glad I watched it. It makes me look forward to my future kasi I can relate to all the tips and the steps. It was really hard but this year with delayed gratification, EXPECTATION SETTING and asking myself what truelly is essential for me, I was able to save up a bit. Laking difference specially this holiday season kasi dati all the bonuses would go to gifts and mga parties for Christmas. Ngayon, I urged my family to have a simple holiday celeb and I’m glad na I have put a huge amount of my bonus and year end earnings to savings, investment and insurances, with some money left to treat myself. Although, dito ko narealize sa video na ito na being a teacher is never nakakayaman. 😂 We are expected to do a lot of things (writing modules, tarp designing, coaching kids, etc.) that we could earn money from kung hindi kami teacher but since it is part of our job, waley income. hehe

i really like the way you elaborate it :) im also a small youtuber and i have an investments but some of my income is just stuck in my bank . i want to invest more but still looking for a good investments . at the very young age of 24 i got a million savings also without work and my family is not also a rich were actually poor . like totally poor but then lucklily god give me this kind of business to earn a bunch of money :)
This is true. Part time usually has high income than our full time jobs.
Two things I discover during quarantine:
1. Part Time Job (Financia Advisor)
2. Learning New Skill (Resin Arts) and turns it into a small business.

Great content! I can truly relate with your story. I made a bad business decision which wiped out my entire savings when I was 25 yrs old. (I was able to save 500k at that time) and right now am trying to be smart with my finances and investments. Slowly but surely.

I did banking & finance, financial/strategic planning. I have also diversified my sources of income, depending on the opportunity presented. ☺️
