Get an insurance plan where you can save up. I started mine this year almost 4months na ako nagbabayad nang 73$ iba pa life insurance sa work..
Thea Sy Bautista yey! Coz not all can afford to get an insurance in their early 20s (20-25). Im 22 and im still the only one between my friends who got insured.
Super helpful, Ate Thea! Always a fan of your contents. ♥️ Can we request po na you tackle next about sa mga legit and good short/medium/long term investments na tried and tested mo na po? Thank you and more power! 😍
Im 22 yrs old. And watching this video is an eye opener for me. And it's very hard to say no. But thanks for the advice! I'll always remember it. Lend the money that I want to let go.
Natuto rin ako from my last contract (I work as seafarer kaya may contract). Then coronavirus came.
I'm in my end of 20's and I'm still learning to finance my money. Before spending money, I think about it first if do I really need it. I used to splurge a lot on material things because I see others doing the same thing but then I learned that I do not really need them. Also material things add too much clutter in my place so I always do mindfull shopping.
Hi Ms. Thea! Ang galing mo dito sa video nato. For a way beyond 20's like me, this is, simply put, everything was well said and realization kicks in, continously!!! Hahaha! Galing!
You're so excited about getting that "First" Job out of College, you forget that you're doing a new form of "Adult Education" so to speak. You have to learn to Budget, you can't always Party on a Work Night, "Stop" Paying The Tab at a Restaurant. You're so right on about "Lending" Money, I found that out The Hard Way and My Cousin who "owed" me got all nasty, and shady amongst other things he was very embarrassed and ashamed because he knew he "owed" and didn't want to face up to it. He did alot of folks dirty and now he's got a very bad rep. The Borrower Is "Slave" To The Lender, or as Shakespeare said in Hamlet "Never A Borrower Nor A Lender Be". Also if you live on your own you have to Pay Rent on time and your Landlord/Landlady isn't your Parent. Use an Excel Spreadsheet or a Budgeting App. Also use an Agenda to know exactly when the Bills are due.
Superrr love this content andami ko natutunan huhu thank you sooo much Ate Thea 💕💕💕 very timely nung pag-post nung video esp may crisis ako ngayon on how I spend my salary on unnecessary things so di ko nako-control yung pera ko. ☹️

I'm so scared of losing my money because I know what it feels like to be super broke when I was younger hanggang magcollege ako. I became selfish and super kuripot. I was also exposed sa mga alta alta at sosyal na friends, medyo nakipagsabayan din ako dahil kaya ko naman but at the end of the day nagsisisi ako ksi ndi naman talaga yun yung lifestyle ko. I love your vid! Sobrang natamaan ako dun sa basing success on others.

Tintingnan ko din yung sense of responsibility nung tao sa pinagkakautangan niya But im not crashing my whole world because of that! Not gonna happen. Im just relating myself to this video that i learn a lesson not to lend money.
It's really an eye opener for me! I'm 19 years old na and this is my first job. Its really hard na mag ipon lalo na fresh grad ka then maliit pa yung sahod mo. I'm taking notes sa lahat ng advices mo! I will put it in my journal para lagi ko silang makikita. Thank you very much!
Hi! So true about not opting for installment. I’d liketo debunk the misconception about 0% interest marketing. What 0% interest actually means is there is no interest STATED. Because it is only IMPLIED, which means nakasama na sya sa binabayaran mo every due date. Pag tinotal mo lahat ng babayaran mo, mas mahal sya. So its better to be patient nalang and save for it. Perks nun, magkakapag-isip ka pa if you really need that thing.
Be very careful when you say it like this, hindi talaga included ang interest sa mga 0% interest-installments. The real pitfall of 0% interest-installments is the person being irresponsible of how he/she handles his/her money at hand. "Ah mababa lang monthly, kaya ko pa bumili ng other stuff". Missed a payment? I agree with your 1-time payment mindset, I do it too, pero there are things that are impossible to pay outright (i.e. 6 digit necessities). Pay on time -> skip bank interests -> build your credit standing for being a good payer -> be happy :D
Nikkol John Morales hi! Thanks for pointing it out :) But could you clarify it more to me with examples? And possibly the basis kung ano ikakaso ko sa store? Coz I’ve seen a payment schedule of an installment-based motorcycle and yes, mas malaki yung total payments via installment kesa sa cash price nya. And my CPA profs has told us many times that 0% is just marketing pero in reality, may interest talaga ang installment payments. So I’d be happy to discuss it more with you para naman ma-educate natin ang ibang viewers dito on that topic. Thank you 🤗
@@maryannviccortes1766 Hi, I have to apologize, I made that statement without further research, pero for sure may pwede ka i-kaso sa store under the grounds of misleading information or deception if ang sabi nila 0% interest pero mas mataas ang sum of payments mo sa SRP 😅 As for vehicle purchases, as much as I know, very rare ang 0% interest sa in-house financing (impossible if bank loan). Almost all the time may interest yun, and dapat ineexplain ng maigi sa buyer. Most people fall for low monthly payments, and dealers use that as leverage para makakuha ng buyer agad, they skip explaining interest rates. Di pa ako nakakita ng "0% interest" sa vehicle purchases, it's either a really good find or there is a twist somewhere along the way. For example, 5 years to pay pero 3 years lang dun yung 0% interest, that's a perfect example of what you said na marketing strategy. "0% interest" tapos may sobrang liit na fine print "for x years only". If hindi yan naexplain sa buyer, intentionally, at wala sa kahit anong pinirmahan ni buyer, then that's where pwede mag file ng case (again di ko pa alam specific cases, sorry T.T) because naloko ang buyer into something that he/she didn't sign up for. I hope na-explain ko ng maayos.
Based on mga credit card 0% interest. Talagang 0% interest sya. Same ang total mo at the end. They are banking on the fact na gumastos ka kasi afford mo to buy in smaller amount. Parang they're pushing you to buy something you can't afford yet. Buy now than later yung idea. Also, they're hoping you miss your payments so they'll charge you the interest sa card. Pero if you don't miss any payments. It's 0%. Usually they give you all the sample computations upfront basahin mo nalang.
Thank you so much for this!! Sobrang nakarelate ako dito. Lahat ata nagawa ko and mooore. Maybe I could add simple tip sa mga nagsstart pa lang magwork or magsave, please llease please build your emergency fund first before investing sa car or house kung sakto lang meron kayo. Kasi you'll never know pag bigla may emergency (illness, accident, job loss, dearh, etc). Atleast may makukuhanan kayo if ever may mangyari.

Thank you sis!!! Watched few of your videos while doing some research about GInvest and learned a lot from it. Hindi lang GInvest ang natutunan ko while watching your videos. Dami ko natutunan like on ways pano magtipid, on what digital savings app should I use etc. Mas napush ako mag invest, magsave, at magisip ng mga bagay bagay na maggrow ako and my money long term. Thankssss and more power. Be safe, always ❤
Grabe. Guilty ako sa lahat lalo sa bonus. I've been working for almost 5yrs na and everytime na iisipin ko yung bonuses ko di ko na alam kung nasan na sila now. This lockdown nakapagsave ako and trying to track my expenses monthly (Thanks to Mercury planner) kahit papano, but Lazada keeps on waving - kaya dinelete ko nalang yung app 😂
pwede po magrequest ng video kung paano gumawa ng listahan kung papaano mo matrack ang investments, income, at savings. yung madali lang po intindihin 😊❤️ new subscriber here 😊

My first legit job was high paying. Nagsplurge talaga ako sa dining out, I tried lots of hyped restos and food parks kasi I never got to try those as I was broke nung college. Also, I was in the cinema a lot then coffee shop after. Presently, I changed careers and my compensation is significantly lower than my first job but I get to save so much more because I cut off all unnecessary expenses.

Yes please
Ok lang yun, at least you got to experience what you didn't during college, reward kumbaga, di mo naman alam kung hanggang kelan ka mabubuhay so gawin na ang mga gustong gawin.
Why change careers if your income will be significantly lower? Should we be aiming for a higher income as time progresses?
Memeh Shannon That’s the ideal scenario. However, there are instances when that’s not necessarily the case. For instance, I chose to change my career because although I had a competitive salary from my previous job, I didn’t see it as sustainable in the long run (i.e contract-based job). I had to accept a lower compensation for my next job because I had zero experience in that field but it was sustainable. The career change and the salary reduction was stressful but it did not take long for me to get a salary raise as I got more intentional with my professional growth.

Thank you very much!
i super LOOOOOOOVE your videos Thea! :) Hope to meet you one day! Much love! - Ate Martha
Hello ate martha!! Thank you ♥️♥️♥️ Hope to meet you soon din po 😊
Thanks for pointing it out :)
But could you clarify it more to me with examples? And possibly the basis kung ano ikakaso ko sa store? Coz I’ve seen a payment schedule of an installment-based motorcycle and yes, mas malaki yung total payments via installment kesa sa cash price nya. And my CPA profs has told us many times that 0% is just marketing pero in reality, may interest talaga ang installment payments. So I’d be happy to discuss it more with you para naman ma-educate natin ang ibang viewers dito on that topic. Thank you 🤗
@@maryannviccortes1766 Hi, I have to apologize, I made that statement without further research, pero for sure may pwede ka i-kaso sa store under the grounds of misleading information or deception if ang sabi nila 0% interest pero mas mataas ang sum of payments mo sa SRP 😅
As for vehicle purchases, as much as I know, very rare ang 0% interest sa in-house financing (impossible if bank loan).

Di ako nakailag!!! HAHAHA

Grabe. Guilty ako sa lahat lalo sa bonus. I've been working for almost 5yrs na and everytime na iisipin ko yung bonuses ko di ko na alam kung nasan na sila now. This lockdown nakapagsave ako and trying to track my expenses monthly (Thanks to Mercury planner) kahit papano, but Lazada keeps on waving - kaya dinelete ko nalang yung app 😂
So true. Ginawa ko na to lahat. That I’m 27, kailngan Kong maging responsible sa mga expenses ko especially sa unnecessary things. 🥲
