The install looks pretty easy. I’ll be putting one on with the help of a buddy, so we should be able to do it. ;)
Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for watching, Walter! -Zach
Can these be removed from the rails completely if you need? I really want a bed cover for everyday use but would want the flexibility without having to completely uninstall something.
Great work, gents!
Thanks Johnny! -Justin
Do you guys sell just the clamp kit alone?
Great video guys. Will this work with the Putco Tec rails? 2023 f150 short bed. Thanks for all your hard work with these videos!
Trying to decide between this and mx4..
Mine came with 2 different clamp styles have no idea if it matters where it goes
Why is the drain tube on one side?
What are the specs on the lift/tires of this truck?
Does it fit a 2018 ram 2500 6.'4 "bed ?
Is there only one drainage tube?
I have a 2015 super cab lariate 4/4 off-road f150 is there any difference in my truck is it a 5.5 or 6 ft I have tried to measure it ?? Most people have crew cabs I don’t I have super cab
This channel is fuckin underated. Literally these videos are top notch quality. But why do yall alternate the guys on these videos?
Do you reinstall the drain plug caps?
No replacement cover or cap to route and finish for drain hose? Just leave an open cap with a hose stuffed in?
I just drilled a hole in the cap. The hole was the size of the drain hose.
A question, where can I get or buy the flat side seals?
How does it fit with a drop in liner? My truck is a month out still and wanted the cushion of a drop in instead of spray. Any thoughts on that??
Worked fine with my Ford factory drop in
@@antivht Just ordered mine, did you cut the liner to access the drain holes in the truck?
Just drilled A 5/8 hole through liner then through the factory bed knockout
What about the led light that come with this cover, is there an install video for that?
Good question. Wish they had answered
Undercover has 3 different “levels” of covers. This particular one does not have the light
Your t-shirt is not tight enough. I declare “Shenanigans!”
LOL- challenge accepted! -Justin
This is the exact same cover as the ProZ version that is sold by Auto Anything. I believe Undercover makes it for them. I just installed mine on a 2018 F150 6.7 bed. Took me 30 min. BTW the clamp has 2 slots in it, for the my F150 the back half should line up in the lower slot. Got mine shipped for $718.00
What’s the name of the tires?
It appears those are the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires 35x12.5x20. -Justin
Those are Nitto Mud Grapplers, not Mickey Thompson's
Just installed mine... had a left-over strip of foam with a sticky side... wasn't covered in video nor printed instructions. What is the purpose of the foam strip?
It goes on the front of the bed, I think it’s supposed to help seal this area. I left mine off because I am getting a sprayed in liner in the next few weeks and I’ll put it on after that
@@briansdumbchannelderpy6986 just for the first 2 clamps on each side of the front of the truck right?
@@kinneydyt if it’s a one piece foam , if I remember correctly it goes one the rail right behind your back window. The small piece of your cover that doesn’t fold( the one the clamps are attached to) rest on it creating a “watertight “ seal.
@@briansdumbchannelderpy6986 it's one piece of foam, from what gathered matches up with what your saying, I put one piece of foam imbetween the liner and bed for the clamp closest to the cab. I appreciate man!
@@briansdumbchannelderpy6986 and heck of a timing on the response!
I hope it works on a ford it doesn’t work for a 22 Silverado it leaked every time it rained it was returned to the dealer who installed it and they worked on it it still leaks they gave up and installed a replacement (Replacement took a month to come in) the thing still leaked going back to the dealer again! Do yourself a favor and buy a ten dollar tarp and it will do the same job maybe better?
I just got mine and I have got to say
It's the wrong size cover you guys gave me.
Go with roll up retractable tonneau- tri folds are junk
7:18 🤨
I used to like it but it has a fatal flaw. The clip that holds the prop bars is made of garbage plastic and breaks very easily :(
Not much to choose from- tri -folds are run of the mill- women hate it because the weight piles up - only way to go is the roll up retractable like our 08 F150 has- we just got a 2019 and are only going retractable for sure
Great video guys. Will this work with the Putco Tec rails? 2023 f150 short bed. Thanks for all your hard work with these videos!
