I ordered this same tonneau cover. I have a 2021 Sierra, for the drain pipes, i have the same hole with a plastic filler cap to remove to route the drain. How can i be certain that hole drains out and not fills my quarter panels with water?
Clamping system looks flimsy compared to a BAKflip. Install on a BAKflip appears to be a lot faster. Price is probably about the same; hard to tell, your website is not user friendly for all trucks and why ask the color of my truck for a black cover? Not really impressed for the price. I'm honest. Easier sites to navigate offering the same product.
Sorry for replying to this old post, but no - it won't stick well to a spray-in liner. I tried it & it came loose. Stick the weather stripping to the rubber seal on the front edge of the cover instead. I did it on mime (2020 RAM install) & it works well.
It's nice but my only gripe would be that I think the struts should work AS STRUTS, lifting the 3rd panel on its own when it's unclipped. For $1000 I would have liked to see that.
Not sure what year GMC you have, but we *DO* carry this for the Sierra! I'll post the link for you below. Thanks for watching! -Zach www.americantrucks.com/undercover-sierra1500-ultra-flex-tri-fold-tonneau-cover-black-textured-s510121.html
This cover is not anti-theft at all. I had mine broken into without the tail gate being opened or the alarm being set off. Even having this professionally installed at a truck accessories store I also have a significant amount of water that gets in with anything more than a heavy fog.
When I put mine on, the rubber gasket that lays on top of the tailgate does hold the gate a bit. But it does “POP” the tailgate. Also. If you adjust the hight of the rail with the clamps near the tailgate to make the top sit a bit higher, the tailgate work as designed.
This cover is junk! Mine leaks and they sent me another cover that wasn’t that much better just leaked less and they were put on by there dealer both times!
@@bigmenswagger It's working perfectly the only issue I had was the dealer didn't install the light. Oh well, I guess the mechanic took it with him as the parts list showed it coming with one.
My 219 Tacoma short bed leaks dust and water. Mine i 10 months old, professional installed. They sent photos to Undercover who sent out a totally new cover, but it appears to be leaking regardless. Jury is out after 6 days... I cannot recommend this product. True they are not water proof is a given but they should not leak and get everything in the bed soaked.
Oh yes beautiful I spent my money on this shit and you sent me wrong, I just want my money back. 20 days to arrive and still came wrong Eight calls and nothing done

I keep having problems with cover : tends to keep getting loose and have to keep tightening brackets to tighten it up!
Put blue lock tight on the bracket Screw
Blue lock tight .strong shit

Nice. I checked your web site but it says you DO NOT have one for GMC sierra 1500, surprised

How exactly did they break in? How is the water getting in? Did you not do the drains?
i have heard of the screws on the latches breaking off and stripping out ...be careful before you buy .
Can you install this cover on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 standard bed with a removable bed liner ?
Do you lose the capability of the automatic tailgate with the tonneau cover ?

Can you install theses with a bed liner?
I have yet to find an answer to this
I just had one installed on my 2019 Sierra with the factory bed liner and it looks/works perfect.
@@danielisrael2066 how do you like it now and is the light stable

Very well done video. Clear audio. Well spoken. No gimmicks. No skipping corners. Good lighting.
Where is this made, Thank You
Because this is a shit
Are those plastic buckles permanently and pre installed on the top outside of the short panel? I would probably not install them if they're optional

Dude, Amazon.
I rarely go to aftermarket shops anymore. Too much of a hassle.
