I agree with others that the lattice wall with cathedral type window was the icing on top....until you made the potting area complete with the treasured sink. The complete project was a joy to watch. All of your videos should somehow be a coffee table book😊 PS...I usually don't get much thrill out of videos of people cleaning.....but.....I loved a few videos back where you were cleaning the Sparrows Nest cottage. That window is what makes it. I love the gardening you do. The fact that you and John always work so hard and then work hard on your home when you’re together is so uplifting to watch. You’re very talented and also a hard worker. We have a ground hog also! 😮 I’m glad you found a heat tolerant lettuce. The weather has been very odd so making adjustments to when we can plant and harvest, even if it’s not because of animal pressure is a very helpful thing the seed companies are helping us with. Are you able to save seeds? I know with your background that those practices were and still are important. I think we need to turn toward those ways since apparently the country seems to be getting more and more difficult to consider sustainable. I’m growing food mainly to be less dependent upon the grocery stores. Local and homemade would be perfect to get common again. I always enjoy music you have on your program. Thanks for sharing some of your days work with us. I wish we lived closer. We may need to take a trip some day. The sink and potters bench is so great!! Hard to choose which of the new changes would be my favorite. I love them all. The cutout window is so charming. The functionality of your salvaged sink and potting table and wall is very resourceful. Good for you, expanding useful living space.

Ooh my Mary, it's just wonderful! The gardening table and sink is just so wonderfully creative and the lattice wall with that great window. I just want to come sit in your wonderfully serene areas! 😊😊😊

Mary, you and John created a beautiful spot. It looks one hundred percent better. I am sure you know, but if not, and you want to remove the rust from your sink, you can get a kit and repaint it. I did it on a very old rusty tub in the past and it holds up really well, and looks good. Seeing as your sink is outdoors, the rust just adds character.❤😊

Mary, Mary, Mary, this is absolutely gorgeous. I am not a fan of lattice, but when you put that window in, I was in awe. It is perfect. I just love how you have turned this little catchall area into such a tranquil and beautiful space. I love it.

Dear Mary, my name is Brenda Kaihoi and I have been enjoying your videos since 2019. Early in 2020 before the COVID shut down occurred, I shared your channel with my sister, Beth. We both look forward to your videos each week. We also have a brother, Scott, with whom we are planning a trip together. As a direct result of your channel, we are spending our time together in Ohio, flying into Columbus from Minnesota.
Our first stop is the Apple Blossom of the Olde Orchard Cottages. We will be there Wednesday and Thursday, August 2nd & 3rd. We are so excited to visit your area and see some of the places in person that you have taken us to via RUclips.

Mary, the window in the lattice was truly inspired but the hose in the galvanised tub just made my day! I've had a similar one that has gone through many transformations over the years but has been sitting in the shed of late. I had no where to use it but couldn't part with it. Thank you so much for the inspiration that will make it useful once more.

Mary, you created a absolutely perfect design for under the deck. I think my favorite is the door wall, sink and potting table with shelf!!! Your attention to detail is inspiring! The stone seating looks very inviting and the lighting you chose is a pretty touch. I enjoy watching you & John work together on project too. Thank you for sharing your talent!

So lovely and refreshing! Your ideas are so inspiring. My grandmother had a sink just like the one you used in her bathroom. She had the X handles. Brought back such sweet memories. She also had a hanging soap dish, very similar to yours (no birds - delft) next to her kitchen sink.
