They, too, were quite the fixer uppers back then, renovating various parts of our first home. I remember them working on the bathrooms, Mom hanging wallpaper, Dad repairing or replacing whatever needed care. They were a great team just like you and John. My Grandmother did wallpaper for a living for a number of years! She made her own paste out of laundry starch and used a brush to smooth the paper out. I inherited her love of wallpapering but I also use a damp cloth to smooth. It works better for me. Beautiful job!!

Great job, team! I would have stained the end cap of the faux wood ceiling beam to match the sides of the beam. And I would have used the same wood on the Eiffel Tower themed wall hanging to tie it in. Other than that, PURRFECTION. 🤣🤣💕💕💕💕

So pretty! I know the boys are excited for a fresh remodeled bathroom! Yes, replacing all the hinges, door knobs,, receptacle cover, ect. makes the final project look so nice and detailed. For 45 yrs I have been mixing old paint. For me, my goal is “clean. I never used anything that I didn’t like the color. Also I have on a couple of occasions, I have painted my bedrooms from “mistakes “ made in paint departments. Clearance paint really cheap. I remember painting my entire house for under $100 from clearance paint. Of course, I have to plan this by over a few months, checking all the box stores paint departments often till I collected what I needed. But it was also fun, (KH)
