- This was originally one big video listing and describing the new lines of both the IRT's and the BMT's portion of the Dual Contracts. However, it became clear that because of the enormous script I wrote, I wouldn't be able to edit the video in time. I didn't want you all to have to wait another week for a video, when it's already been 3 weeks since my last one. So, I decided to split this video into 2 parts, with this one mainly focusing on the IRT's portion of the Dual Contracts. Don't worry though, because part 2, which will cover the BMT's portion of the Dual Contracts, should be out in the next 2 weeks, so stay tuned!!!
Man i remember when I watched the series best nyc train series
Hi. In the last few days I’ve watched several sets of videos about NYC Subway. As a Brit who’s never visited New York, I’m learning a lot of interesting stuff.
With your videos, including the 4 ‘Secrets’ ones, the whiteboard graphics are very useful as otherwise I would be totally lost. However, I’m struggling with your commentary which you rattle through at tremendous speed. This may be a New Yorker thing (!) but it often makes it hard for me to hear and digest what you are saying. Appreciate you are trying to convey a lot of information in a short space of time. However, ‘less is more’ would, I feel, enhance the great picture quality of your videos even more.
I, too, found his narration to be too rapid to comprehend at times, and this is coming from a native New Yorker!
Wow, a lot of information. enjoyed your video.
I dont think you ever revealed your identity or social media contact but whoever you are THANK YOU!!!! Your channel is my favorite. I absolutely love rail remnants and I love how you take us on a journey of all the stations and showing us the secrets rather than just sitting and talking about train models and other stuff a lot of railfans do.
-Your stationfan!
PS: Please do more about the
mini-world of Far Rockaway and it’s old Rockaway Beach stations before the changeover to NYCT ownership. Also please do METRONORTH secrets if any. 🥸🤓
Thank's for the history lesson on dual contracts And the Extentions with in the IRT. Aka the Number Division . That was a great video sir.
Great work , interesting history. 1910 crime was bad bad bad
Fun Fuct, the 7 is actually BMT to this day😏
Edit: this was a joke you guys don’t get so mad
it is NOT! It only uses the BMT radio frequency due to repeater issues. The crews and supervision are al IRT.
@@pbatommy do you know what joking around means chief? (also i work for the t/a so no need to tell me that)
@@fh4709 I'm a retired TA motorman myself.
SPEAK SLOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He won't. Been asking.
@Travel In New York:
SLOW YOUR ROLL, MAN! You have been told by many of your viewers that you need to speak slower, MUCH SLOWER. Why do you refuse to listen to us? You want us to UNSUBSCRIBE? I doubt you'd want that. Look, understand something, you have a Latino-flavored NYC accent which to most non-NYC viewers find it difficult to understand some parts of your videos! Please, help make your videos even more awesome by re-doing your audio. Thanks very kindly.
SLOW DOWN, you are slurring and as a result I am missing a lot of the information. There is simply no reason to speak this fast.
I don't mind it but I have ADHD and do the same thing
You can slow the video speed
@@xixi560 slurring means that some of the words are being blurred, so even if u slow down, it will still be hard to hear
I so agree! Or watch in 1/2 speed, but even that is painful.
@@stanleychen2584 thanks. And His ACCENT IS DIFFICULT FOR US TO UNDERSTAND.
