I appreciate the advice
But… I love beer sooooo much! 🥺🍺
Honestly, I drink and lift 💪🏼
It’s definitely not good, but it’s better than drinking and not lifting.
Not drinking and lifting would be best, but I just love beer too much.
And it’s the worst form of alcohol you can drink because of the carb content 🐋
I don’t ALWAYS lift and drink,
But when I do, I drink Dos Equis XX
because I am a Mexican Man, trapped in a White Man’s body. They call me “Boracho Gringo Fuerte” 💪🏻
Haha! I hear you, my brother! Do your thing, just continue to be responsible💪
Same here, hungover 6:30 in the morning heading to the GYM
@@dman5501 sweat it out! Lol
I have a sign 🪧 in my apartment on the fridge that says,
“50 reps=1 beer 🍺 “
So if I want a beer I have to earn it 😂
@@tmdz9643 Lets get it
Me too...I hate it . It essentially fuels My workouts . And I love the carbs as well, totally helps me round out calories
I think as long as you know calorie intake your straight but I think having a good mentality beats science
I only ever drink the first weekend of every month but I get almost blackout drunk each time. It’s a way for me to look forward to drinking without doing it too often.
I get a good steady legal limit drunk once a week and have a couple beers with a meal maybe twice a week. Not noticing it interfering with my workouts. My drunk day is also kept away from workout days.
FUCK YEAAAA
This is awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for commenting! I’m glad you liked the video 👍🏻
I drink once a month I hit the gym next morning 30 min cardio then hit the pool good feeling eazy rest after
I workout everyday and bang out my 12 ounce curls 🍺
My dad needs to hear this!! He drinks a few beers every day, even after his workouts..
Please share with your dad! And thanks for watching my video 🙏🏼

i drink about 7 beers on average a night and am 20 years old will this completely stop my gains?
Enhances mine...😊😊😊
awwww Gary!! your being a meanie!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Haha! Yes, Clarence, unfortunately the truth can sound mean at times.
i just want to look fit, i am not into any competition just a lil chest and bicep is enough for me..
i lift and the same same night i drink 4 -5 beers,
as long as i am working out i neither loss weight nor gain it.
What if u only have 2-4 beers a week
Great video, I feel like I can never lift as heavy the next day after a night of drinking. Truth to this feeling I’m guessing?
Thanks for watching my video, Chris! Yes, there is a lot of truth to that feeling.
What if I drink 1 or 2 every 2 or 3 weeks? Yes literally 1 or 2 normal sized beers. Very inconsistently? I don’t drink to indulge. Just to relax me a bit after I’m burnt out.
I drink a 6 pack a week. For my blood lol
Other fitness influencers say alcohol doesn't effect your gains because it's calories...
Stone cold begs to differ
I don't normally drink, but had 3-4 beers last night, now going for my krav maga to burn that off, will that affect my gains?
Hi Harsh! 3-4 beers is a moderate amount, as long as that’s not a daily habit. Krav Maga training will help you burn some of those excess calories 💪🏻
Is 750ml of whiskey a night too much?
Not sure if you're being serious so I'll just assume you're joking, haha. Yes, drinking that much whisky each night would probably cut your life-expectancy by at least 15 years. I would hope you value your life enough to not drink that much.
Round up to a litre for maximum gains
gaining muscle and losing weight is the last thing you should be worried about if you are drinking like that. You should instead be worried about quitting drinking and saving your own life before its to late.
Sorry but i practice drunken boxing i need to drink
Haha. You do you.
Is drinking once a week bad? For example every Saturday, 6-8 beers ? I go to the gym 4-5 times a week
Hi, Rudolph. That type of moderation isn't necessarily "bad", but try to limit the number of beers as much as possible.
How about soda? Cause I drink a lot of it
Zero calorie sodas are fine. All the others are loaded with sugar.
M I take every weekend wit 2beers in limited
Good moderation.
Does this apply to red wine
Yes, it does. That's one of the worst because so many people drink wine every night thinking it's good for them.
It isn't, unfortunatley, and can lead to all the issues I mentioned in the video. It's okay to drink on occassion, but I would definilty do it in moderation only.
funny enough, red wine contains quercetin, that is blocking an enzime which naturally eliminates testosteron from your body through urination and the molecule piceatannol blocks the pathway to new fat cells to form. So red wine actually increases testo and prevents you getting fat if you drink moderate :D ofc those things mentioned in the video are true in general, but your liver will filter out alcohol and use it for primary energy source, it’s only when you get toxicated (aka drunk af) your body will experience these effects and it’s also dependent on body mass, body fat, insulin levels, liver conditions, genetics etc…
Sir i have a big question
Does drinking a large amount of water increase the belly
Thanks for the question! Drinking water will not lead to increased belly size; however, if you drink a lot at one sitting then it can cause a bloated stomach. This will lead to a temporary situation where your belly appears larger.

one week vacation?
Enjoy the vacation, and when you return from it, you can get back to minimizing your consumption.
Is it okay to drink alcohol while on anabolic steroids? only 1 time?
Yes, it's okay to drink a little bit of alcohol while on steroids. To optimize the results of taking steroids, it's best to avoid alcohol though.
Is 2-3 liters of beer per day after workout too much? Not joking
no your fine
Depends on genetics. I knew a guy who was strong and ripped as hell, and drank Hennessy every other day damn near 🤷🏻♂️🤣🤷🏻♂️
Is drinking alcohol like whiskey one time only bad?
That’s what I consider “moderation”, so that’s okay👍🏻
@@WalkerFitMuscle ok thanks
I. Am. Female . Lol
Hi, I need some advice. I drank 1 bottle of wine and consumed 2,500 excess calories last weekend on Saturday.
I have ran 6 miles on Sunday, 12 miles on Monday, and 5 miles today.
I went from 109 lbs on Saturday morning to 115 lbs today.
How can I undo this ??
Hi Gabi! Yes, alcohol contains a lot of empty calories and will lead to excess fat storage; however, what you are probably experiencing now is some water retention. The key is to limit your alcohol consumption to moderate amounts and continue to do what you're doing. Staying active will help burn calories and that will keep your weight to healthy levels. I'm in the process of making a more detailed video on alcohol consumption and its effects on weight loss and/or muscle building, and it should be uploaded later this week. Make sure you watch the video to get a more in-depth understanding of alcohol consumption! Thanks for taking the time to ask a question, and I hope I helped🙏🏼

Thank you for sending this! I sure will!
As someone who reserves all her occasional drinking for the holidays and my birthday, I
agree, drinking will set you back on your gains! I rarely drink and that one weekend set me back (still recovering) a week now. I lost some weight but still I don’t feel 💯. I ran a total of 40 miles by now and I still haven’t gotten rid of all that water weight.
Tell it to arnold bitches ima drink my drink (not that I drink often or much when I do)
Wow, you do realize Arnold had horrible health. He had a heart transplant at only 50 and now he can't even eat like a normal person. I've had two friends die because of alcohol so I will continue to share the dangers of it.
@Gary Walker well people shouldn't overindulge in alcohol it's a stupid way to spend your life but there's not much negative to having one or two (individual) drinks a week
@@theplansbydan I forget people think backwards, haha. I look at value vs non-value. Life is short and I want to maximize mine and help others do the same. There is zero positives to drinkning alchohol and a ton of potential negatives. It is a natural depressent and we are living in a time whhere anxiety and depression is at an all time high. Find positives and remove the negatives and life will be a lot more fullfilling.
@Gary Walker not everybody wants to get on an olympia stage bud I'm happy living my life the way I do, I don't go out and get blasted but I occaisionally have 1 drink and considering I work 14 hour days and go to gym every day and eat a good diet of whole foods I think I'm doing better than upwards of 98% of the population so your judgement means literally nothing to me champ 🙌🏼
@Gary Walker just had a geeze at your profile and honestly being on gear is worse for you than the occasional single drink man, honestly 😂
One beer per week is bad ?
Not at all. That's what I consider a moderate amount,; however, I haven't met anyone that can limit their intake to only 1 at a time each week.
@@WalkerFitMuscle One a week is pointless 🤣
Hii am going gym daily but am used to drink alcohol OLD MONK twice in a week not heavy just 250ml
It sounds like you only drink in moderation, which is a good start! Keep working in the gym and continue to establish those good habits, and you will continue to make great progress and will be much healthier for it🔥💪🏼
@@WalkerFitMuscle ❤️😍tq u dr

2 drinks a week please you might as well stop drinking
Great idea, the end goal should be increasing life expectancy, and elimintaing alcohol completely would help with that.
Just dislike because I searched beer.. and this is "alcohol".. beer wine and liquor is very different
Maybe take some time do some research for your videos..
Arnold schwarzenegger would disagree
Arnold had open heart surgery when he was 49! I’m not sure he’s the pillar of health you should look up to, haha.
