In January of 2019 I was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. I went through 6 months of chemotherapy, 28 sessions of radiation and 4 surgical procedures.
I dropped 65 pounds in 3 months. I am now 100% cancer free! I starred watching your workout videos, Gary and now I'm getting back in shape again.
I'm 68 years old and when I'm 70, my goal is to enter a seniors bodybuilding competition.

I pulled a muscle in my shoulder doing dumbell fly years ago
Yes, you have to be careful with flys and limit the range of motion. It doesn’t take much weight to get the benefits of the stretch. It’s more about establishing a strong mind-muscle connection and control each rep with a slow cadence.

Added dips to my chest workout Wide grip and leaning forward But I'm really feeling it in the shoulders Am I doing something wrong
Hey Christopher! As much as I love dips, they are not for everyone. Don't give up on them yet though...try bringing your elbows into your sides as you lower your body, and only go to about 90 degrees. Don't go any lower than this. The key to making this work for your chest is to maximize the top portion of the lift. While you raise your body into the top position try to squeeze the inside of your elbows together. This will help you maximize your chest contraction. Try to make these adjustments and let me know how it feels.

Hi, Kris! Yes, start with a couple of sets to see how you do. Then add more sets as your body gets acclimated to the work load.

Hello Gary I really enjoy the variety of workouts that you have been doing body beast in T2 five for years and they work really well. I’m just burn out on doing the same exercises it’s kind of a lack of motivation. I do have 1 question if you could awnser who makes that work bench your using? I really like the functionality of it and it looks padded well. And I can’t read the name on it. Thanks for a reply

How many sets
How many sets on each that's exercise
2-4 sets. It depends on the individual. If you are a beginner do 2, more intermediate do 3 of each, and if you are advanced then you can do 4 each.

I have thought Tricon Sets have 9 Reps ?
Hi Michael! Yes, the standard TriCon sets are all 9 reps; however, I created TriCon-X sets to allow for a heavier weight. You still do the 3 explosive reps and the 3 ten-second holds, but you omit the additional 3 slow reps. This allows you to use slightly more weight, but still, keep your joints safe!
