Doesn’t get more perfect than that. Love that you haven’t drowned the meat in various rubs and spices either. Nice and simple.

Thank you! I fixed my audio with a mic and music background a bit for a more pleasant audio in the later videos. That steak came out amazing and yes just simple salt, pepper, garlic is the way to go

This informative video answered two questions I had: the use of lump charcoal and of the Grill Grates. I have never used lump charcoal and was concerned since I read that lump was hard to light and didn't stay lit up for long, but it lit up with no problem in the video. I also just started using the additional Grill Grates and I see they do not hamper the charcoal grilled taste and the GG's prevent the meat from burning. I recently started using a Weber Kettle and am learning from my mistakes. Video was so good, I immediately subscribed. Thank you!

Thank you, this comment means a lot to me. I’m glad that my videos are helpful. Grill grates are safe to use over lump charcoal, used mine for 2 years over high heat ( 600F+) and they still look new, recently I soaked them in water with dish soap and scrubbed it down with steel wool for a deep clean. Grill grates are very good for searing steaks, pork chops or any other meat that are greasy, it keeps the flames away very good, also if flipped upside down you can do eggs, burgers, bacon, vegetables ( basically a flat surface). Thanks again for the support and keep on grilling. Kettles makes delicious food.

Fantastic demo thank you so much for your technique. I’ll be using a gas grill.

Thank you! It should work on a gas grill too. Just sear the steak then move it on the cold side with the burner off while keeping the burners going on the other side (like an oven)

Thanks a lot. This video is my best one so far, came out great, I'm getting more used with the camera and me being behind it. Also this steak probably the best one I made so far, it was literally melting in my mouth. Stay tuned for more content. Lamb may be next one if I don't find something else to cook. We'll see. Thanks a lot.

Awesome grilling, I'm new to your channel and have a question. Where did you get that screen for the bottom of you charcoal grate? I need one because I use natural lump charcoal like you and that looks like it stop from letting the smaller pieces of charcoal from going through the bottom of the kettle grill.

Thanks alot. I bought mine from Walmart, it's called a pizza screen. It did very well but melted due to high heat from lump charcoal. I suggest you to find something more strong. Maybe a second grate but installed crisscross.
