******* Probably the most underrated guitar imo. I finally looked into one at my local Guitar Center. It's was damn near perfection. It was the 620 in Burnt charcoal (I'm pretty sure that was the color name) and It was epic. Played like a dream, and the bridge pickup had a very naughty, blues, stoner rock "twang" to it. Fit, finish, hardware, frets, etc were all A+++.

I am happy to see you demo a Yamaha guitar. I own several upper end Yamaha guitars; an SG1500, SG1000, RSP20CR, amongst others. When I got my RSP20CR (Japanese version of the RS820) I fell in love with how it played. It felt very similar to my SG models, and like you stated resonates well. However I couldn't stand the pickups; they were nothing like what I experienced with my SG models. After replacing them with a set of DiMarzio pickups (Super D and PAF Pro) the guitar really came to life. Now it sounds as excellent as it plays! I have been curious about how the RS820 compares to my RSP20CR model though! Thanks for the demo Fluff!!!

no distinctive reason? hate? the like and dislike are there for people to express their opinion on the content of a given channel, why does it have to be hate or personal? the guy is not perfect, multiple people have commented on the reasons why he's getting dislikes, the channel is obviously not satisfying of all his subscriber base and he has the option to acknowledge it and do something about or ignore it and move on.

  • @Bloody_Palace

I've played this guitar, and I have to say that it plays awesomely. It just has an awesome feel to it, the hardware is solid, and the guitar looks cool. Its got this old school, 50s motorbike style to it. But! For $1000, it's pushing it to be honest. Not because of the quality of the guitar being off, but for other competitors on the market. If you ever decided to sell it, you will most certainly never come close to making back what you paid for it. That being said, maybe buying a pre-owned piece would be a better option?

    • @agonygoes

the push pull is not actually a coil split. it runs your signal through a resistor and capacitor in parallel, which imitates a coil split without the hum.

Design draws heavily on their old SG models. I picked up a tobacco burst 1981 SGB800s cheap, put it against my Les Paul and the Yamaha destroys it. Hopefully these Revstars can gain some traction, they're a solid guitar.

I could be wrong, but I don't think this is actually a coil tap. It's some sort of filter that creates the sound of a single coil without turning the PU into an actual single coil.

Hello, is your guitar just like you bought it, or did you have to do a set-up? I am also referring to fret retouching, nut, etc. I ask you because I saw several comments where they talked about that they came without any up grade
