The video has been blocked for over a year. I was so disappointed that I couldn't share this reaction.And yesterday, they dropped the block!
Her mother was an opera singer and while LP has had classical training she is very much in a class of her own. The vibrato . The whistle. The rawness. This video sent me down the rabbit hole and made me fall in love with her. Although very popular and well known overseas LP has not gained the traction she deserves in the states. I’ve only seen her live twice but she is so engaging with the audience it’s incredible.
Oh please consider reacting to LP's version of Beyonce's "Halo". It's brilliant. People say she sang it over another famous piece from a movie. I just know it's an unforgettable performance that reminded me that the voice is and instrument. Poor bassist shook off the lactic acid build up at one point. This song is epic.
LP is one of my favorite singers, after Angelina and Aurora. Heard "Lost on you" 2016 and have loved her since. Thanks for this reaction❣
LP is Laura Pergolizzi, - a singer/songwriter who has written for Cher, Rihanna, the Backstreet Boys, Leona Lewis, Mylène Farmer, Céline Dion and Christina Aguilera, among others. She has a unique voice and power. Angelina Jordan recently did a TikTok of this song.😎

I love people singing with their eyes closed, it´s authentic and somehow very touching like I am peaking into their soul.... Telling people they have to have their eyes open is non-sense.

As others have said, Halo cover is just breathtaking. When We’re High, Muddy Waters, Dreamer, Can’t Let You Leave, so many more. To hear the magnitude of her power I suggest her Ukulele Series- covers of In The Pines, The Widow, and Something with just the voice and the ukulele .

LP is one of my favorite and most important female artists🎶‼️. Let me join in recommending you reacting to her cover of Beyoncé's Halo. It will give a better idea of her personality, range, and stage presence. She doesn't do very many covers as she writes so many songs but when she does she makes them her own. It is filmed in a small venue with strings and piano. You will love👏🙌💯 but you can choose any other work of hers and enjoy. She also is a world class whistler! Just for grins there is a video called "The Whistle Off" putting LP against someone who always thought they could whistle. Really funny and most impressive. I have the bell on! I can't wait for one of my favorite reactors to react to more LP‼️

She is one of the most joyful warm performers live.
