It just keeps surprising me how people, especially musicians, have never heard of LP. She is seriously overlooked as an artist - one of the best ones out there, has been for years. I guess she is not the "radio type" (I think she is; she has amazing bangers like "Shaken", "into the wild" etc etc).

I remember hearing this song on the radio back in 2014 or 2015 and thinking it was Gwen Steffani, then second guessed myself because of her vibrato. I looked up this song and immediately downloaded it to my playlist. LP is extremely talented and has written hit songs for Heidi Montag, Rihanna and Christina Aguilera.
I then heard Scott Hoying and Mario José cover this particular song with the backing track “Time” by Hans Zimmer for the movie ‘Inception’ and just thought it was an amazingly versatile song lyrically.

I remember finding LP back when I was in college in 2015. Lost on You and Muddy Waters had so few views on them (less than a million), I think something happened over in Europe that blasted her (rightfully so) to popularity. I remember trying to share all my friends her music because she is a genius music writer with a crazy track record, and then her wanting to become an artist herself. I just want to know exactly when it happened, because I remember her songs only having a couple hundred thousand views, then I check back in and her songs have millions to even billion views LMFAO
