Amazing how updating the BIOS also took you from 1 stick of 8GB RAM to 2 32GB sticks without XMP enabled.
Updating the BIOS does not directly affect the number or capacity of RAM sticks. Enabling XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) in the BIOS settings allows your system to optimize memory performance and recognize the full capacity of your RAM sticks.
Ok this is a long shot and hopefully you could reply… recently I upgraded from a 3060 to a 3070ti. Since then I can’t boot into bios, just a black screen then into windows. The only way I can get into bios is putting back the 3060 card. Would a bios update fix that?

it says something about updating de Intel ME firmware first, why did you skipped that step ???
If you are not experiencing any issues and are not planning to upgrade to a 13th Gen processor, then you do not need to update your BIOS.

Download your boards updated BIOS.
Extract download file to USB (probably fat32 format).
Restart and enter BIOS.
Go to tools and your boards form of flash.
Select the correct drive and file.
