I was able to fix it. Gigabyte has different revision versions of this motherboard and mine was 1.1 and not a 1.0 that was showing up from the site directly. Just had to click the rev 1.1 right next to it and save it to my flash drive. Had no issues afterwards when plugged to the new pc for the update.
