@@natecar1 I just got so frustrated, watching him haul one thing up, sail all the way over to Steptoe's Island, or wherever, to dispose of it, then sail all the way back. Especially if he had a handful of maps making it a target-rich area. And you know how 'hasty' Daren can be? ;
About silos producing more than expected, I was having the same thing happen to me so I just looked it up and found something unexpected! It doubles production speed, as we knew, but it also outputs one extra on every third cycle! How bizarre IMHO xD Edit:Tractors are the same way. Every third cycle you get an extra ton of product
When you are looking for which houses are not "full", you can click the Upgrade button. The houses with no upgrade symbol (the arrow over them), dont have all the supplies they need.
The advanced echolocator you got from Nate shows you in White mainly scrap locations, in Golden and fancy borders you see any Treasure and/or missions you got from Nate. Also sometimes you see a red circle. Try to avoid the mines. :). Also in the last update, you can deliver directly to the Island Storage from any Ship in range by just Ctrl+Left Click on any item in your ship's inventory. No need to open the window to deliver goods. Great Series.
The diving bell has 2 kinds of echo location. the normal white ones are for standard things, if its the fancy echo location signal (think its gold, i;m colourblind sorry) then its one for a quest.
Hey man I don't know if you read comments on old videos but i just wanted to say that you have helped me relax during a really tough time in my life. I have always been interested in the Anno series (supply chain major) but never actually got to play the game due to the games hardware requirements. Being able to turn my mind off the troubling things happening in my life right now, and just veg out on some of your content has been exactly what I needed. Thank you
14:25, I watch at 1.5 speed. Listen to the background music. At normal speed it seemed familiar, but I just couldn't place it. But at the quicker speed, it sounds like Take On Me by Aha.
I love your Let's Play and I've acctually learned a fair bit eventhough I've been playing Anno for years! Still drives me nuts that you forget to build roads so often!!!
can't get enough of the playthrough! Moving some industry to 1 island and turning it into a industrial metropolis would be interesting with the smog etc. keep it up!
I actually did this once before, certainly makes things easier as well having all your heavy industry in one place! Will probably try it here too eventually.
To see which buildings will be "lacking" market ect, you just click the market and will see the roads highlighted in green. Dark green they are 100% satisfied and the light green they are only partially satisfied. When you blueprint it will highlight in blue to show where it will cover.
@38:48 If you click on residences, it will show a list with all the houses and how many people they have. You can easily find the house which isn't optimal.
really never got that far in this game idk exactly why. Thanks again for this series. It gives me many ideas and motivation to get further into that game :)
@@WhatDarrenPlays One method of doing the following quest is that when you in the middle between the two circles, right click the ship if you feel like you’re going to fall behind. I just discovered it today. I don’t know if it is a bug or just a mechanic. Good luck! Love your videos!
@@WhatDarrenPlays sorry about my terrible English. I mean when you right click on the ship that you suppose to follow, it will actually stop moving. Hopefully it's helpful!
I am playing the same map, picked Arthur Gasporov and George smith, they are constantly at war with each other so that is good that they will not maintain a large fleet. That also kept Bente alive. I took out Arthur mostly with 7-8 SOLs because he hogged all the islands I wanted in the new world.
About the silos: It says that silos incorrect productivity by 100%, but in reality it is closer to a 166% increase, that why lining up the alpaca-farms to the felt-weavers is harder than expected.
Loving the videos! Following the diving bell while under fast time makes this mechanic more enjoyable imo. Also the quests that require slipping past and or following is a bit easier to react to under fast time. But you do you bruva keep'em coming!
great series, I subscribed. The build style is so far off from what I am used to! Quick tip in case you did not know: when you offload stuff from a ship to a harbor, you don't need to actually open the Harbor interface. With the ship in range of the harbor/pier, you can ctrl + left click on the materials you want to offload and they will directly go in the harbor.

Thank you for the content! you are getting better at being effective. Don't wonder too much about the small things, you are doing great and merry christmas :)
Hey, I'm really enjoying the series so far! I have a question though: doesn't trading with the AI increase your relationship with them? Couldn't you just buy/sell some expensive goods from/to Margaret Hunt to improve the relationship?
Just a comment to one of your previous videos - Public Moorings gets 1 visitor per attractiveness of the city, but generates 3.7 income per visitor, so you need a lot less attractiveness to make a profit from them (about 130-ish in the old world)
now I'm watching this series and it's awesome it was ended though so I have all episodes open to watch and i found an easter egg I suppose and it's 32:00 there's mission called Mama Coco and they asked you to find Miguel who was lost and there is part with Dia de Los Muertos and easter egg is about pixar's movie "Coco" where protagonist Miguel is lost in the realm of the dead in the Dia de Los Muertos and his Great grandma (I'm not sure if i got it right) is called Coco and in the movie they say "Mama Coco"
I have one questions before I start watching. Tell me, does he fix the road connections to the police station in crown falls this episode? Something in me needs to see that fixed.
@@WhatDarrenPlays cool. In the last couple episodes you talked a lot about what you would add if you could add content. The building mechanism is grid like but I wish it was possible to build in a more organic way just like how the prison Island and Archibald island looks. You are going to need much more oil production for more expansion. If I remember correctly each power plant needs between 3-4 oil wells.
It needs exactly 3

Stop doing the diving bell stuff, there is literally nothing more boring in the entire game.
A large part of this game is war as far as I know you haven’t had a war. Sad
A very very small part of the game is war imo. In war, ships fire on a port, and once destroyed the island is wiped clean. It’s kinda lame.
