A treasure map always says what type of treasure it is, like animals or machines or artifacts and based on that you can select the items you want in your ship, for example the guy with a higher chance of finding nice machines Love the series man! :)

Loving the series. Quick note about under-utilized trade routes. You can set up simple trade routes that not only get your money up but also reputation. Canons from La Fortune to Saramento is one and a round trip to all the major AI islands for fur coats and drop them off at Cahina's place.

Seriously dude, this has been so enjoyable to watch and engage with, I kinda hope that this goes on for a long while! Wouldn't mind 200 parts of all of this! I like to have the world fair near the dock and near some industry, since it is a fair, not ornament. The space you have can fit a museum or even small palace
Change your costruction material route to include concrete instead of timber. And for the timber, you have 100 farmers on every island. You sell your windows on swords. And for the gold of the pirates and the penny farthings/pocket watches drop a trade route - with a minimum quantity at swords, buy the rest of archi and sail to embesa

I know it takes a bit of influence but please continue to buy shares from Lady Margaret, you never know when she might purchase a share back. It would also be really cool if you were able to buy shares and take over or just take over through war one of the larger islands (preferably from Lady Margaret) in the New World and make it the region's capital city. I'm excited for the next episode!

You have all these juicy new items/people that'll help you with all those tougher/longer expeditions. Also you should look into sending more than one ship on a mission so that you'll still have room to carry all the sick loot back home. I like when you don't get frustrated, although sometimes in this game it could be impossible. I know it is alot to ask, what I mean is, it is much more relaxing when you are reserved. Silence is not always a bad thing, take your time. Anyway, been following every episode and im enjoying the journey. Also, before you expand the pig industries in Crown Falls be sure where the palace will go. Maybe the industries are in the way? Have a good one! *btw garden + zoo sounds amazing!

Id like to see your crisis management put to the test, i think you did well back in your stellaris series. By the way, I've started doing your house layout technique where you build around the coast first. Looks so much better, but can mess with delivery of goods sometimes.

There's are specialists at Nate's that you can buy or they may arrive any time, where you can get Legendary Animals, Artifacts and Machines. Instead of the Lady with the Blue hat, if you carry those 3, you're covered for all types of diving.
Loading your diving ship with all the specialist actually hurts you. You should use just 1 at a time. If you put legendary items in the 2 remaining slots you will increase the amount of goods you collect.
For once I wished I didn't had a Macbook so I could play this game myself.. Used to play anno 1602 (I'm almost 37 so you were probably a baby lol) and also played to make it just look nice
Hey mate. You should check out Nvidia now. It’s a game streaming service. You can play an hour for free on it at time. You will still need to buy Anno, but you can play it through the service. You can also pay for the paid version of nvidia now, which is like 5 pound a month. If you do, you won’t have any queues to get a virtual machine, and can play as long as you want. It’s a brilliant service and Anno plays wel on it. The only thing is that you do need a decent internet connection, and it is region sensitive. Hope this helps!
Hey Darren, love the series! When it comes to moving upgraded homes, is that something you can do "between episodes?" It's just something I think we've seen you do enough times it can be skipped going forward. Not going to bother me if you don't do it, like I said, I love the series!
Yeah I’ll try do it where I can in bulk, as we “get it” now - the problem is playing in between episodes things can often happen with the AI, festivals, or other random quests/events/visitors. I think I need to do a big exchange of houses this time so will likely do it between!
Any advice on increasing FPS in the mid-late game? I see that your frames are struggling a bit too, so I was wondering if you had any suggestions or tips.
Other than lowering settings that are CPU taxing, I’m not sure :( My game typically doesnt lag very much, but because I’m recording thats pushing the game a lot, and I’m stubbornly keeping the settings high!
Side note: Some production buildings like champagne cellars actually give your island attractiveness so those wouldn't hurt to have on your main island.
I feel like your ship naming is backwards with the Bioshock reference at 8:00. I think the Little Sister should be diving (harvesting Adam), and the Big Daddy should be the clipper providing defense and transportation. Idk. Great games though. I'm replaying the series, and am half-way through the 2nd one now.

Hey, I like playing anno 1800, but my rig is bearly strong enougth to handle it. I mainly got to your videos because I was searching for a YT chanel which did not play anno so terrible efficently (yes I am German and am making this statment, no I am not adopted;)) but also tries to make it look good. If you are searching for inspiration, I like to place trees on the border of the farms, deviding it from other farms, streets etc... I think it has a very nice touch, where I come from farms always place a line of tree at the border of farm land and the city plants trees on both sids of the road if it opens to the country side and this translates rather well into anno.
Honestly surprised at how few comments about the pronunciation of coelacanth there are. Not a lot of Animal Crossing players here I guess. Do you think you should increase your production of windows? It seems like you had to wait a lot for them this episode.

You can also pay for the paid version of nvidia now, which is like 5 pound a month. If you do, you won’t have any queues to get a virtual machine, and can play as long as you want. It’s a brilliant service and Anno plays wel on it. The only thing is that you do need a decent internet connection, and it is region sensitive. Hope this helps!

When it comes to moving upgraded homes, is that something you can do "between episodes?" It's just something I think we've seen you do enough times it can be skipped going forward.

Yeah I’ll try do it where I can in bulk, as we “get it” now - the problem is playing in between episodes things can often happen with the AI, festivals, or other random quests/events/visitors. I think I need to do a big exchange of houses this time so will likely do it between!

Any advice on increasing FPS in the mid-late game? I see that your frames are struggling a bit too, so I was wondering if you had any suggestions or tips.
Other than lowering settings that are CPU taxing, I’m not sure :(
My game typically doesnt lag very much, but because I’m recording thats pushing the game a lot, and I’m stubbornly keeping the settings high!

I feel like your ship naming is backwards with the Bioshock reference at 8:00. I think the Little Sister should be diving (harvesting Adam), and the Big Daddy should be the clipper providing defense and transportation. Idk. Great games though. I'm replaying the series, and am half-way through the 2nd one now.
You are correct, but the ship has the diving bell and big daddy’s wear those type of things.... so I’m conflicted :P

Hey, I like playing anno 1800, but my rig is bearly strong enougth to handle it. I mainly got to your videos because I was searching for a YT chanel which did not play anno so terrible efficently (yes I am German and am making this statment, no I am not adopted;)) but also tries to make it look good. If you are searching for inspiration, I like to place trees on the border of the farms, deviding it from other farms, streets etc... I think it has a very nice touch, where I come from farms always place a line of tree at the border of farm land and the city plants trees on both sids of the road if it opens to the country side and this translates rather well into anno.
Same here (farms are done that way in Ireland too) I’ll give it a shot!
