Just got these today. They fit so well, I just wish they had pockets, because women pants lol They look so skillfully made in black on me, pair them with tabi boots The cut is absolutely amazing, they’re so effortlessly elegant. The biggest hurdle is getting over the mental hump of feeling like you as a man can and should only look at men’s selections and catalogues. It’s a proven fact that women’s clothes are just made better, and come in a greater and more interesting variety of cuts, silhouettes, and textures than men’s clothes.
You speak nothing but facts! I’m glad you like them! I actually can’t believe uniqlo still sells these as well (saw them few days ago) so for anyone that’s interested go to the women’s section, they still have alternatives!
They came today, tried them on. Fit is actually pretty decent. Quite wide and flowy which is not what I'm used to. Only issue is that it is quite flat on the front and my thang pokes out too much 😬
🤣🤣🤣 I feel you on that bro. Might have to stick with wearing shirts non-tucked. Appreciate the feedback and the response! Hahahahaha maybe extra style points?
2 months in, how do you feel? Trying to join the wide pants trend and I just got mine. I like the look but it is definitely flowy which I often associate with women's pants (because duh it is women's pants). My dad gave me weird looks because he instantly asked why I was wearing women's clothing
@@halofanaticboy I think the pleats of the pants in general makes it very “feminine”. I like it still and got compliments on it regardless. Fashion now is leading more towards being a bit feminine for the men side (ie cropped shirts, mesh, men skirt for FW23) and it’s something that you just have to get used to lol. Sucks that your dad was giving you weird looks but if you walk with confidence and if you like it, that’s all that matters! Stay true to who you are and what you like!
I also got a pair of the Homme Plisse JF150 in Size1 as I'm 5ft7, but I feel like they're about 1inch too long, even when worn high on the waist. I've tried turning the waistband over 1x but then they kind of create pull in the pleats up around the crotch (granted you can't see that too well as they're a black pair) Been thinking about trying to get them tailored for a more ankle length look but apparently you can't just normally hem them as it'll mess with the pleats. Seems like it's better to actually cut them to length but that's terrifying to do to such an expensive product 😭
I pull mine up lmao! But this is new information to me so thanks for your input! I feel you on that, especially when you spend sooo much money on a pair of pants last thing you want is to find a tailor that isn’t as competent in their job and that’s $$$ down the drain.
@@MarkReyesCayabyab I've tried pulling mine up but any further and my junk reaches the end of the crotch area 😂😂 Yeah absolutely! I saw someone suggest that a skilled tailor could somehow sew across the pleats to keep them the correct distance apart before then hemming... But it's not easy to know who is going to be able to do that correctly, and the last thing I want to do is start suggesting they're not good enough for the job when all I want is to ensure the most expensive garment I've ever bought is going to look right 😭
@@UnimportantAcc hahahahah there’s been so many times when that happened I said I’m not going to tuck in my shirt so it hides 😂😂😂 Dude yesss. It’s one of those situations where if the tailor messed up, it’s not fixable lol. I’d rather just deal with the length then mess something up 😵💫
Hmm I haven’t had that problem. Usually I’d say iron it or steam it but that would mess up the pleats. Maybe you can roll the top part all the way to the crotch and place something heavy on top to flatten it? With that solution it might create creases on the actual pant. Whatever solution you come up with feel free to share how you solved the problem!
Nice Demo! I do feel like the IM's are just visibly much higher quality - the pleats pop way harder, and I think the spacing is classier, plus the cuffs, inseam, and taper. Separately, could I ask what the id is of those derbies you're wearing? Thanks in advance!
My guy, thanks for replying and giving your input! They’re not derbies, they’re boots! Oree NYC infantry boot! If i had to recommend a derby I was looking into their new derbies!

I tried the black ones in store I'd like to advise the dudes that they do show "print" so just letting everyone know. It's very visible!

This is my only gripe with them. I've never worn women's pants so I didn't know this was an issue lol

Wonder how dying them would be. Is material just way thinner or is dye just not dark enough

Are they dupes of its the same creative director? That is the question
If you’re referring to the same CD of Issey Miyake, definitely not. 20000% dupes.

How do you like it?!
yes it is.very comfortable @@MarkReyesCayabyab
i got the womens pants and the fit is horrible for men
It looks fine to me! I would say yes it’s a bit wider but I’m curious, what didn’t you like?
