5'5"! You need to tailor your pants!

Love them, i only had 2-3 months of them during Winter-Spring but they will definitely be making an appearance when it gets a little bit colder in the bay area. Brown shoes are a bit hard to style so i've been trying to expand more colored pants into my rotation especially since i'm going a bit wider it'll take time for me to find something i like! (Navy Blue, Green, Cream/White)

Yup! Wear it with sweats! It is more on the skinnier side so might be best to wear skinnier/flared sweats with these, not so sure about baggy

Definitely gotta half size down, for leather you kind of want it to be tight so it can stretch out

They can potentially stretch but truthfully it is pretty narrow, i feel like the Birkenstocks or any other wide clogs might be a better choice.

I do feel like loafers will always be classic yes but i feel like classics can still be "trendy" or rise in popularity and then die off but so far it's been consistent

@MarkReyesCayabyab I see your point, and I agree. There has definitely been an increase in their popularity in menswear. During Tumblr's peak from 2011 to 2015, when menswear was a major focus, boots and oxfords were the primary go-to footwear choices.

Won't be mean at all, anyone/everyone is welcomed here! I think it's all preference! 1 - I have skinnier legs so have long socks kind of hides the fact that they're skinny. I'm like borderline chicken legs haha 2 - I don't want to take them off only to be showing off my feet (Not saying that i have ugly feet but i'm just not a fan of feet, haha) 3 - I feel like sweat will spread to the shoe more easily thus making it more "smelly"

I love this! I know Ssense does have a sale here and there! I personally think there's nothing wrong with cheaper alternatives if it's something you just want to test out. I know later down the road, i want to get real MM loafers and it's thanks to these cheaper alternatives !

Still holds up to be honest!

Personally, I owned a pair for three months, and I've found them to be pretty high quality. The chemical smell is apparent, and I will agree it is annoying but it wears off in a week at most. I think the smell is just shoe shine or some sort of leather perserver, but it is a harsh head ache enducing smell. As for the leather, it's held up pretty well for me. Mind you, I haven't been treating them like a red wing boot, but they've held up really well. All leather will flake if you dont take care of it. I would reccoment using some sort of perserver or leather lotion. I use the red wing leather lotion all my leather boot products. For your issue with the zippers, im not really sure? Maybe its a sizing issue, or you haven't fully broken them in? Mine fit perfectly. Maybe your zipper is getting caught on the leather fold?

@AdventureDoor personally when I first got the boots, they did feel a bit snug around my ankles, although I do think that is to he expected with any snug fitting leather boots. What matters most is the fit for your toe box. Your toe box should be spacious enough to allow your toes to bend while tight enough to not have your feet slip around in the boots. Hope this helps.

It’s truly not worth cheaping out over, real guidis can be found eventually at ok prices and they simply can’t be replicated from how insanely soft and form fitting the leather is.

Yeah almost everything he said about short people sizing is wrong. Oversized / boxed is not good for smaller individuals. Does not help his outfit proportions at all lol

Totally get where you’re coming from! I wear a size Medium in the OS shirts from Uniqlo and those are my only frame of references prior to buying it. I kind of went to it blind and I actually wanted to do a wash/dry test to see how much it shrunk. I’d rather have a slightly OS shirt after drying compared to a shirt that barely fits me.

Yeah i notice that has been the trends lately! I know they incorporate that into the latest wales bonner sambas! I was so excited until i saw the hairs. I love their mules, it's such a classy look! I'm curious to know if they are comfortable to wear cause i can wear mules year round tbh lol

I'm currently in the same boat where i kind of just want to simplify my life and go for more simple pieces that look smart while incorporating some sneakers whenever i want! Kind of like a preppy-street look! It's so interesting that these brands really know their target audience and they really lean in. That's so awesome that you went to Stockholm, it's definitely on my list of places to go, especially with the overall Scandi design that they incorporate. In terms of other parts of the world, are you referring to overall minimal designers? Mid-tier designers? I really love this idea and would love to make a video out of it!

@@MarkReyesCayabyab i would say designers that exist in this minimalist sort of space. my assumption is that they always have to be "at least" mid-tier (in terms of cost) for what they do but perhaps that isn't true? could be something to cover in your video as well.
