How is it real India . Ladakh has a population less than Gurugram. Its like saying Cyberhub Gurugram is the real India. No either is this real depiction nor is Cyberhub. 2:45 Indus (Sindhu in Sanskrit) River is the river from where the words India and Hindu come from. From the perspective of Europeans/Persians coming from Western side, this river marked the entry point to the India. So people living beyond Indus were called Indoos(Hindus), and the land of Indoos/Hindus became Ind-ia. (ia meaning land - Mongol-ia, Russ-ia, Bulgar-ia, )
The oldest found mention of the word comes fron Old Persian text of Darius 1 in 500 BC

Usually Ladakh is paradise for bikers. You must have found several bikers in the way. Cars or 4 wheelers don't usually give that experience which Ladakh is known for. You took the flight to Leh and it was difficult for you to acclimatize. A bike usually helps you to gradually acclimatize and hence the experience. Overall loved your stunning cinematography and I just wished you got into a Royal Enfield and rode along.

I think you should visit Ladakh or northern part of India during winter months and amount of height of snow it falls there. You can also try white water rafting, hiking, skiing in those parts. Most foreigners no absolutely no idea India has more snow the Canada or USA or Europe.

You have to think from their point of view. I live in Germany now and these people have already seen gorgeous mountains and valleys and beeches in Italy , Spain , Switzerland, Austria etc. When they think of visiting India , they think of "Rishikesh" or Varanasi or something that' you'd associate with India like crowds , religious rituals, ganges, slums and so on. If they want to see mountains they'd go to Nepal. And if they want tropical climate they'd go to Bali or some other island in south east Asia.

It's not easy to build roads at 8000 ft , 10000 ft or 15000ft..they also break sometimes because of rains n landslides all through the year..in west u will rarely find roads at this height n if u r at less than 5500 or even 7000 ft then roads in Indian mountains r at par with anywhere in the world along with end number of options as they r small cities having everything u need in a city..India n China r able to build roads n big modern tunnels in extreme conditions...
