Brilliant Joe. You are in Himalayan heaven. I rode up into Zanskar valley from Ley two years ago. I loved everything about my trip. It’s a bit of a no brainer that youre in India on a Himalayan. Annie 🐧
Yes it is a special place to ride and explore. You'll be able to see the changes in only 2 year going into Zanskar apparently it has change a lot. I hope you enjoy the series.
The kind of effort you go to deserves a reward. Your photography skills make your vlogs stand out above the rest. I don't understand why you haven't got a million subscribers yet. I guess it is only a matter of time if you keep doing trips like this. Thanks for entertaining us. 😀👍
Thank you for the support John, it is greatly appreciated and will go towards the trip. it is an amazing place to ride and explore, it gets a lot better once I head north of Manali. I hope you enjoy the series.
Best ever intro to any motovlog video, by anybody, anywhere! Your cinematography is next level x100. Such a joy and an inspiration. This series is going to be fantastic! India is hectic at any time, but riding along a flooded highway ... kudos. And glad to see you've got new boots.
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the first episode, it gets a lot better once I head north of Manali. Yes from the support of everyone I was able to get new boots, not only did it help in the water but I get a shine strike from a massive rock the next day that would have cut me open but with the boots it was no issues, so very grateful to everyone. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
haha, yep got a good deal on them and were worth it in the first hour. and well I did get shin strike from a massive rock they would have cut me open if I didn't have them in the next episode so definitely worth it. Looking forward to this adventure Joe. The Himalayas and the Pacific North West share a lot of similarities in appearance and terrain seems like. Going to be a great series.
Yes there are a lot of similarities, even that dusty dry alpine trails you get at the end of summer and that epic pine smell. I hope you enjoy the series.
It's so good to hear the videos help in a little way to inspire you to explore on the weekends (the reason I upload at that time, so it is great to hear it works even if just the one person). The Himalayas are an incredible place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the series.
Melbourne 411 rider here. Great to see you enjoying the 450. It seems to be living up to the hype from what I've read. Love your loose plan. You're making me so restless! 13 years since my 15 month ride through the Americas. India looks fun. Great to see your channel growing. Stay safe and enjoy the adventure :)
Yes the 450 definitely has a lot of improvement, the biggest being the suspension for off road, the rebound is so so much better. 15 months thought south America would have been epic, a real adventure. I'd like to explore Patagonia on a bike as soon as possible. I hope you enjoy the series.
Joe ...far out ... didn't think you be back in the saddle so quick ...and its your passion ... another epic journey in the making ... enjoy every moment ,we are here sitting on the edge of our seats for the next bend in the road ... love from from NZ

Hi Joe, I didn’t expect you to pop up in the Himalayas that’s for sure. What a fantastic introduction, you really nailed it. I’ve watched the intro quite a few times. I can’t believe the chaos in the cities. Good to see Royal Enfield helping you out again. Looking forward to the future episodes. Well I never know how long I'll get to do this so may as well start with the big ones. It is an incredible place to ride and explore, it gets a lot better once I head north of Manali. Yes the kind support from people with the super likes on RUclips and the fuel supports helped make the trip possible and also enable me to get near new boots. not only did they help me keep dry in the city, I had a large rock flick up form the front wheel and smash into my shin, with out the boots it would have opened me right up, which could have ended the whole journey, so very grateful to everyone who has helped. I hope you enjoy the series.
Thanks Johan, It is an amazing place to ride and explore, it gets a lot better once i start heading north from Manali. I hope you enjoy the new series.
Yes very grateful that Royal Enfield let me the bike otherwise I would not have been able to do the trip. Once I get some decent time on the bike I'll let you know how it goes. I hope you enjoy the series.
Brilliant, just the best account of this sort of trip without all of the drama warnings of what not to do. And I love the way you don’t make a fixed plan.

Hi Joe, we met you on this trip, part of a group riding Scram 411's. There was a great bunch of Aussies in our group too. Your video work is awesome, look forward to the next episode!
Hi Graham, yes I remember you guys, and your guide was correct about the track that all the information said was close was actually open (as he said) so I am very grateful for his information as it was an epic ride through there. I hope you enjoy the series.
Nice your back with some new adventure, it’s always a pleasur to follow your adventures. Looking forward to next video. Greetings from Denmark. Bjarne🇩🇰🥸
Joe! Your a man of surprises. Fancy seeing you far from Oz on another Motorcycle Adventure. Great insite re the traffic issues, we have nothing to worry about here compared with that. I'm excited to see your interpretation of the country your travelling through. Be safe Joe! 👏😁
Well I couldn't wait any longer to get out and explore again, i don't know how long I'll get to do this so i thought I may as well start with some of the epic places first. Yes the traffic can get a little hectic, just have to adapt very quickly. it is an incredible place to ride and explore, so I hope you enjoyed the series, thanks for the continued support.
What can I say. If your past adventures have been anything to go by, this is going to be a cheery on the cake. Can't wait to see this adventure unfold 👍
Bloody brilliant Joe, took me right back to my own trip six years ago - that Himalayan Highway? Bloody terrifying! The mountains couldn't come soon enough. Looking forward to the rest of your episodes - big style. 😎
I bet you'll notice a lot of difference since your trip Martin. There is a lot more sealed roads now. Once I head north from Manali it gets a lot better. I hope you enjoy the series.
In a way it's a bit of a disappointment that the roads have improved so much. When I was there, chatting with local riders they were telling me I was lucky to be there when I was, as the adventurous feel was slowly disappearing, but then who are we to deny progress? I really enjoy watching other people's experiences across there - I'd go back in a heartbeat Joe, so yes very much looking forward to the rest of yours. 👍
Wow 😮 what an amazing adventure we have coming! Looking forward to the series, the preview was incredible, loads of great stuff to come. I’ll be keen to hear what you make of the new Himalayan and whether you think it’s pros and cons are compared to your own 411. Exciting times, Joe!!
It is an amazing place to ride and explore, I'll do a review of the bike at the end of the series in more detail, but yes it is a big upgrade, the new suspension (the rebound is so so much better) is the biggest improvement. I hope you enjoy the series.
@@freewayproject oh I know I will, your adventures and the filming just keep getting better and better. I’ve been back for a week following my own, a 9 day run to the sun, Cornwall (UK) down to Monaco. The highlight was definitely the Verdon Park, with the mountains, the gorges, balcony roads, and the switchback climbs up and down each peak. I came back after just over 2,000 miles and all I wanted to do was push the bike out of the garage the day after, and doing it all over again but with new places to see. Motorcycle travelling is ADDICTIVE!!
Hey Joe, Welcome to our country. I am one of your avid viewers, diligently followed your Australia, Tasmania and NZ rides. Always wondered what will be the outcome when you ride into the Himalayas. i guess this will be a EPIC blockbuster. Really like your narration, photography and the way you travel .. riding and camping. Will be hooked on to this series. Do come to South India too, there are fair amount of hills and valleys to explore. Goodluck and ride safe .. 👍
Thanks for having me, it's an amazing place to explore, yes I think I'll have to do several trips as there is so much to explore. I hope you enjoy the series.
Chicken momos ! Love them . Been out there many times since 2007 . Much better roads now . The Rhotang pass out of Manali is now easier with a big tunnel . Like your relaxed style. Thanks
Me and the wife have watched all your videos, Joe We are glued to the screen for this one as it is on our list In the UK, the Adventure riders are obsessed with changing tyres, so we would like it if once you get into the trip, if you could talk about the bike, tyres, any upgrades please Enjoy, ride safe
It is an amazing place to ride and explore, if you like riding on dirt tracks do it sooner rather than later as you'll see they are sealing most of the dirt roads. Honestly I rode the bike stock, no changes at all and it copped with all conditions I road through, even the stock tyres. There are only a few situation you'd need to change tyres, deep mud, riding across deep desert sands and really steep (with really loose rocks) hill climbs. I rode on all of these surfaces in the Himalayas but not the extreme version of this terrain, so stock tyres were fine. In saying that I will be doing a video on my experience on the bike what I liked and disliked and any changes. I hope you enjoy the series.
It is an amazing place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the series. Yes Delhi traffic is hectic and in the mountains, well you'll see..... a different crazy.
I honestly thought I was "over" the Himalayas, having recently returned from my second trip to the region, this time a hiking trip in Ladakh. Imagine my surprise when I saw where your newest adventure is taking place, and felt my heart rate instantly increase! Can't wait to follow along with you, Joe.
Awesome trip video series, count me as inspired, Himalayas just made my bucket list, thank you Joe! Please keep the great videos coming, we will spread the word…Cheers!
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you are enjoying the series, it is an incredible place to ride and explore, definitely worth being on your bucket list. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.

Hey Jimmy thanks for the continued support of watching. The Himalayas are an amazing place to ride and explore, it gets a lot better once I head north from Manali. Yes the upgrade on the bike is noticeable. I hope you enjoy the series.,
Hey man, in many ways you remind me of the legend, who's still 'getting it done' to this day. Very cool, keep it up and hopefully we can join you one day! All the best.
Wow !!! you certainly pick great adventures Joe, the first just watched was great, I can imagine that this series will blow us away ......looking forward to all of it ...... cheers for now, watch out for all those cows on the road ...
Well I don't know how long I might get to do this so may as well go for the epic ones first. It gets a lot better once I head north from Manali, I hope you enjoy the series.
I just discovered your channel (and subscribed!) and am completely captivated by your cinematography and how you present India to us--just fascinating, death-defying in Delhi trying to ride around there and then just the genuineness of India, its people and its culture. Fantastic, and I can't wait to watch more--be safe and good luck on your adventures!
Thanks mate, it is great to hear you are enjoying the series. India is an incredible place and the people are friendly and helpful, I am only getting to explore one small part of it on this journey, hopefully I'll get back to explore different areas of the country. Thanks for watching.
I hope you enjoy the new series, the last boot were actually waterproof, but I kept riding through water crossing that were higher than the boots so all my fault haha. Yes these ones are a lot higher and should solve the problem, plus they have more protection for the off road.
The Himalayas are an amazing place to ride and explore, I'll be doing a review on the bike at the end of the series, but it is an awesome upgrade, the suspension is the biggest improvement, I am not sure how they did it and kept the price so low, I hope you enjoy the series
As an Aussie who has done little travel overseas, it blows my mind to see cities like Mumbai. I wonder what they would think of Australia. Thank you for taking me on an extraordinary adventure while I sit here on the Gold Coast on an ordinary Monday night.
As an Indian and a fellow biker. I want to tell you that all the instances where you went through deep water on the Delhi roads was an extremely risky thing to do. I felt anxious while watching you go through the water. It is risky because I know what kind of crap is usually lying on the road. There are really large stones/bricks placed on the roads. Usually used by people to mark a disabled vehicle. They then forget to remove them. Sometimes the water drains don't have covers and will be hidden underneath the water. So when you cross it, your front wheel will fall into the drain and cause an accident or disable your bike. Hope you enjoyed Indian traffic. Looking forward for more episodes.
Thank you for your concern and advice, luckily there were no water crossing as deep as the trip around Australia or New Zealand. It is an incredible place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoyed the series.
Wow, this is going to be an amazing series. First episode is very enticing. I too would be getting out of the cities as quickly as possible and heading for the hills.
It is an incredible place to ride and explore, haha yer I have an idea where a couple of those tunnels would be handy on the south island. I hope you enjoy the series.
New boots lieutenant dan. Yes stoked to have them, I could only get them because of the super likes and fuel support people sent in on the last series. I am very grateful as they also saved my shin being opened up by a very large rock that got flicked off the front wheel.
I'm on the 10 episode of your new Zealand vlog . After watching alot of your videos I can tell you prefer mountain trails , dirt roads. Btw thanks for sharing your adventure with us. Be safe out there.
It's great to hear you are enjoying the New Zealand series. Yes once it turns dirt it seems to get more interesting, there are less people so you find a lot more places that aren't well known, also they often take you to amazingly beautiful places, and it a lot more fun riding on the dirt. I hope you enjoy the new series as well.
This trip is on my bucket list for sure. Well done and I sure look forward to you upcoming episodes, you pave the way for us adventure lovers, thanks. Summer is nearly here and I,m off to check out some of your epic trails here in NZ. Cheers n beers Thanks for your card, it was a real surprise.
Thank you for the support (it was a real surprise and help with the trip and a reason I have new boots which also saved my shin from being opened up from a large rock strike coming off the front wheel and hitting my shin, so very grateful) Have fun on those tracks and remember I barely scratched the surface, there are so many more trails out there I am sure you'll find a few more. The Himalayas are an amazing place to ride and explore, it gets a lot better one I head north from Manali, I hope you enjoy the series.
The intro montage showing all the various landscape shots and music was amazing. You earned yourself a new subscriber :)..I hope you have a great time in northern india :)
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode, yes there are some many unique landscapes in just this section of India, it is an incredible place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
I bought a hymalayan 450 a few months back here in the United States (Texas). I took a trip through Hill Country last week, and it was awesome. I'm just having a hard time finding after-market parts here in the U.S. for my bike. So far, I absolutely love it. Have a top box and took off the stock mirrors. I'm looking to upgrade it as much as possible. Any idea where to get accessories in the U.S.
I found the one I rode to be perfect for the terrain in the Himalayas. I am not sure where you'd find accessories, but yes would replace the stock mirrors with doubletake mirrors.
Wow that's amazing. Cinematography, drone shots, voice over everything seems perfect and entertaining. keep going Joe. By the way thanks for showing where my Tax money is going, proud of my Government.
Thanks mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode, it is an amazing place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. Yes they are doing a lot of work in the region.

Excited for this one, enjoy the 450.
Just finished your aussie loop & alt road series, so great timing having this to look forward to.
It's great to hear you enjoyed the other series, The Himalayas are an amazing place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the new series
It is an amazing place to ride and explore and I think it gets a lot better once I head north from Manali. I hope you enjoy the series.
@@martintraffordmoorlandbike7121 yes the thought came up that I had got to the party late as it was winding down.
@@peakrider4886 that sounds like an epic trip. yes it is addictive, I'll need to go to a support meeting if I want to stop 😂
Himalayas! Hell yeah!
It is an amazing place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the series.
The Intro is a masterpiece. Watched it more than 10 times now. Perfect background score too. Cheers.
Thanks Ankit, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series as well, it gets a lot better once I head north from Manali.
Chicken momos ! Love them . Been out there many times since 2007 . Much better roads now . The Rhotang
pass out of Manali is now easier with a big tunnel . Like your relaxed style. Thanks
They were yummy, it is an amazing place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
what a lovely video, loved the cinematography and editing.
Thanks mate, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series up into the Himalayas.
Hiya Joe, loved your NZ seies! Really looking forward to viewing this.
Thanks David, it's great to hear you enjoyed the New Zealand series. I hope you enjoy the new series, it get a lot better once head north from Manali.
Me and the wife have watched all your videos, Joe
We are glued to the screen for this one as it is on our list
In the UK, the Adventure riders are obsessed with changing tyres, so we would like it if once you get into the trip, if you could talk about the bike, tyres, any upgrades please
Enjoy, ride safe
Itchy Boots eat your heart out! A Himalayian in the Himalayas with cinematic framing and good music! Joe you are a hard act to follow....
It is an amazing place to ride and explore, the new 450 is quite the upgrade, I hope you enjoy the series
Cool man what an adventure, can't wait to see more, cheers mate ride safe. (Especially in India looks hectic).
Can't wait to follow along with you, Joe.
it is an amazing place to ride and explore, it gets a lot better once I head north of Manali, I hope you enjoy the series.
Amazing Journey Joe!
It's great to hear you enjoyed the episode, it gets a lot better heading up into the mountains from Manali.

Wow !!! you certainly pick great adventures Joe, the first just watched was great, I can imagine that this series will blow us away ......looking forward to all of it ...... cheers for now, watch out for all those cows on the road ...
Looking forward to your travels again!
Glad you finally got some decent waterproof boots. 😁
I hope you enjoy the new series, the last boot were actually waterproof, but I kept riding through water crossing that were higher than the boots so all my fault haha. Yes these ones are a lot higher and should solve the problem, plus they have more protection for the off road.
Mate such a great surprise to see the new series. Can't wait to hear you're views one the new Himalayan.
The Himalayas are an amazing place to ride and explore, I'll be doing a review on the bike at the end of the series, but it is an awesome upgrade, the suspension is the biggest improvement, I am not sure how they did it and kept the price so low, I hope you enjoy the series
great to see you back Joe, looking forward to the trip
It's good to be back Mark, it is an incredible place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the new series.
Great start to another adventure. Your vlogs are great... riding and lots of interesting observations on local culture and scenery !
Good job !
thanks mate, it is an amazing and interesting place to ride, I hope you enjoy the series.
Great video, thank you very much.
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the series.
As an Aussie who has done little travel overseas, it blows my mind to see cities like Mumbai. I wonder what they would think of Australia. Thank you for taking me on an extraordinary adventure while I sit here on the Gold Coast on an ordinary Monday night.
Yes very different than Australia. You are welcome mate, it's great to hear you enjoyed the episode, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
Great journey! Following from Brasil!
Thanks mate, It's great to hear you enjoyed the episode. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
Welcome to India! Surely it is going to be another epic journey in Himalaya! Have a safe and enjoyable ride!

Wow, this is going to be an amazing series. First episode is very enticing. I too would be getting out of the cities as quickly as possible and heading for the hills.

Good on you. Looking forward to this.
I hope you enjoy the series mate.
Great to see you there, amazing scenery. See is you can sneak a couple of those tunnels out with you; I know where they could come in handy here.
It is an incredible place to ride and explore, haha yer I have an idea where a couple of those tunnels would be handy on the south island. I hope you enjoy the series.
WOW! This is amazing. Can’t wait for the next episode. Thank you for such beautiful and perfectly edited vision. Well done mate 👍
It definitely is an amazing place to ride and explore Greg. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.
Woohoo new boots :) soooo excited to travel along with you on this epic adventure! Love the way you travel Joe - bring on the next episode 🤙🏼
@@freewayproject IKR.
Thank you for the support (it was a real surprise and help with the trip and a reason I have new boots which also saved my shin from being opened up from a large rock strike coming off the front wheel and hitting my shin, so very grateful)
Have fun on those tracks and remember I barely scratched the surface, there are so many more trails out there I am sure you'll find a few more.
What a great trip Joe!!!
It is an amazing place to ride and explore, I hope you enjoy the series Markus. It all gets very mountainess once I leave Manali
Inspiring story telling as always!! This is going to be epic.
It is an amazing place to ride and explore, it gets a lot better one I head north from Manali, I hope you enjoy the series.
Excellent Joe, I've been totally enjoying the video, good on you.
