I actually did attempt this once on Hard Mode iirc (as in, Villager class, no promotions). they didn’t make it; they simply didn’t have the stats to keep up. I’m sure somebody could do it though
@@JS_ota honestly I would allow the villager stick dlc to add a few extra villagers on celicas side to balance things out and choose a few extra units. While echoes isn't my favorite game. I do enjoy how the male and female villagers have different ups to them with the guys being able to evolve indefinitely and Faye being so op by the time she evolves you don't even need to get all the way like Ross to make her strong.
@@ivanbluecool Oh, I did use the pitchforks, had to give one to Conrad because he was the only one stat-wise that could keep up with Celica. If I ever do revisit that challenge, no doubt have to pick my fork options more wisely, though honestly I’d probably do like, a Pegasus only or Archer only run first before that.

Act 6 is basically their honeymoon, lol. Aside from that, they both soloed Valentia alone, plot twist, the game over thing wasn't caused by Duma, the gravestones were all of Alm and Celica's victims...
Seeing Alm and Celica beat "The Creation" (we all know what it is if you played awakening) is much more fitting than how I killed them in my run. Underleveled tobin getting the last hit on "The Creation" was really funny to me.
I tried this once, myself, and used pretty similar strategies. I actually managed to get the Dracoshield from Jeddah, which made Celica act 5 a lot easier! Great vid, this run is pretty fun. You had a great strategy for Tatarrah’s map compared to mine
Something similar to this happened to me on my classic playthrough on act 5, after the second encounter with Berkut. Alm's army literally got wiped out and all I had left was just Alm and Faye. I just gave up after that because idk how I'm supposed to beat the rest of the game with just two units. At least Faye gets Alm all to herself now lmao.
Great job on the run! I didn't know this game had an act 6. Alm and Celica had such high stats, there aren't many Fire Emblems except 3 Houses where your stats go above 30 (not including hp)
I did this run a few years ago. If anyone's interested in doing it, it's a very fun run! I've got some tips for those who want to try it after watching this video. 1: Earth's Boon is a great art for Celica, but even better is Plentitude, which is also on the Golden Dagger. It heals you on hit, allowing Celica to easily self-sustain herself throughout the entire game. Combined with how cheap it is to forge the dagger (Just 20 Silver for 3 stars, easily obtained by selling excess provisions), this should be Celica's weapon of choice through the whole run (until you start using things like mage ring). You can consider sending it to Alm as well. Once you clear out all fixed position enemies in Duma Tower, send the dagger to Alm so he can use Plentitude if he's in a bind (once he learns it), and get Earth's Boon for provisions. Also do NOT upgrade it to Beloved Zofia, as you lose Plentitude. 2: Get Parthia ASAP. It costs a painfully expensive 7 gold marks (Evolving a Lv3 Blessed Bow costs 5 gold (!!) and getting the blessed bow to 3 stars costs 2 gold and 30 silver), but Alm can get the needed marks without a great deal of difficulty and with no need to grind for anything. Trading in the Exotic Spice obtained at Desaix's fortress is +3 Giving the Pegasus Cheese obtained at Desaix's fortress to the cheese lover at Zofia Castle gives another Exotic Spice for another 3 gold marks. And then you get one in the Sylvan shrine for 7. With Trance Shot, you can snipe away so many problematic enemies, namely Nuibaba, Hestia, and Rinea, and Parthia also has built-in recovery. All you need is the blessed bow from the Fear Mountain shrine. This combined with the Royal Sword and Killer Bow should be Alm's 3 main weapons for the run. 3: Get the Coral Ring to Alm before progressing his Act 3. This is easily done by having Celica get it in the Dragon Shrine and sending it to him. If Celica also desires the Coral Ring, she can complete the sidequest at Zofia Harbor of giving 5 Coral Fragments to Alessio, then Alm can buy a Coral Ring from the same man at Desaix's fortress for 50 silver (there's a Silver Purse+ in the fortress). Helps immensely for the Sluice Gate and for just plain dealing with witches. Good luck if you give it a go!
Mila’s turnwheel’s usability comes when you’re farming crits. If you need a crit in order to be able to finish a foe in enemy phase, Mila’s turnwheel helps eliminate some of that waiting time.

Sigurd and Dierdre (Gen 1) and Seliph and Julia (Gen 2) beat Geneology of the Holy War Leif and Nanna beat Thracia 776 FE 7 will probably be Hector and Eliwood (may include Lyn as well since she is a lord) Path of Radiance will likely be Ike and Mist (I'm assuming this cause Mist is forced in the Black Knight encounter near endgame, but Elincia would also work cause she's technically a lord and I think the game force deploys her in at least one late game map if I recall correctly.) Radiant Dawn is technically impossible cause of part 2 alone but if I had to guess I would say Michiah, Ike, and Elincia are your units here. Marth and Caeda beat shadow dragon Marth and Kris beat New Mystery of the Emblem Chrom and Robin beat Awakening Corrin and Azura beat Fates Byleth and Seteth, Claude, Dimitri, or Edelgard beat Three Houses (though these runs are obvious successes because of how this game works, but you might find a way to make the run interesting.)
Yes you can. In some ways it is easier than normal. Most FE games are easier to beat the less units you use. Want a real challenge? Hard mode without promoting any units. (Except celica since her promotion is forced)
I didn’t even know I could recruit python until sooo late into the game and I was so upset when I found out cuz I liked his design lol. He was so underleveled but I just fed him a shit ton of kills and he ended up overclassing and being my best unit pretty much
Before watching this, there is one enemy I'd imagine is going to be tough just cuz of the mechanic surrounding them. So it will be interesting to see how you deal with that. If you deal with it.

Definitely surprised how you get the turn wheel if you don’t talk to Silque I also wanted to point out that Celica has a 60% Atk growth & if you where using DLC, having her hold the Leo shard would give her a 100% chance to level up Atk + a 10% chance to level it up by +2, I found this out myself when I was living up Luthier and hit the 5% +2 skill lol, I just find that cool Anyway, really excited to see how the rest turns out!! 🥳
before watching i'm 99% sure this is possible but it'll be super long and painful since most maps in the mid game have summoners ( more in celica's route but... if i recall alm has a few as well )
Yo, well done! Glad the game's beatable with just its lords. You know, I've been thinking of doing a Luthier solo bar the Duma kill, and it'll require me to use only Celica on her route and only Alm before I get Luthier. So this helps a lot!
I’ve done this twice and it kind of ruined how I play RPGs. Like I just loathe big inescapable party systems now. Solo-running Dragon Quest 9 only doubled this feeling. I rather just grind up one or two characters and deal with the challenges that come with that. It’s the only way I have fun now
gaiden tries so hard to stop you from juggernauting - attacks can never deal 0 damage - promotions only raise weak stats - worst overall growth rates in the series - 1 item limit per character i mean it still fails because alm exists
I did this a week after it dropped... It was sooooo cathartic to whoop the maps but alm was a spicy bit of challenge... (Also did it again with dlc and first cave cheese) (u can legit max level both alm and Celica off the first cave bandits with 0 threat.)
Awesome job and the work put into the editing and planning must be insane! Just a mini tip as a voice over artist myself is to be careful giving the same cadence to each sentence and ending each sentence with an uptick like you would with a question, it's a minor thing and if it's too much hassle don't worry about it but it could improve the listenablity when it comes to the voice over element. Totally your call though!
To get the dracoshield with Alm fight Slade until he goes to heal then aggro Deseix and put Alm in between them so that Slade is stuck in the room and Deseix is blocked from going back in. Then use tons of provisions to heal and hope you get lots of crits on Deseix.
Since your doing this duo FE runs even though there not main lords I would you to do a challange with only Sain and Prisilla from FE7 or Illiana and Zihart from FE9-10 since there both pairing that I love but for some reason do not have pair ending which makes no sence giving there great supports
Yes I both don't pairs dont start at the beginning so would need to use others characters first but like Ike since he is mandatory for both final bosses in FE9-10 but still which to see both runs some day in a video
