The fact that you need a video to explain this says a lot about "Microsoft Teams" already. 38 seconds in and I can't find any of these options. looks totally different :-(
OMG, you just save my life! i was sitting thru all the Team tutorial, no 1 mention the 2 version!!! those people's video should get a thumbs down! why can't they think for people who are new to TEAM?

Why or what can I do when I want to put a background and it apersme couldnt add the background?
Before, I can see the apply background effects but when I got a problem on teams and followed a microsoft suport person's instruction and deleted all my folders on the app data and restarted my Teams, I was unable to see the background effects option. Can someone help me please

I've tried manually installing through appdata and there is no uploads folder and i've added my own yet I still dont see my custom background
Edit: I have school version of MS Teams and when I use other versions it will work and I will have custom backgrounds but with school MS Teams it wont, is it because the school wont let me or???

I think background effect only works on hp,Lenovo laptops I have Dell the option is not present

My computer didn't display the background effects options, I assumed that the system just couldn't handle it. Yesterday the background effects appeared and I was able to use it fine, even with my own custom background. Now again today, the option doesn't exist.

When we download Microsoft Teams, how do we know if it is a Browser Based Teams or Downloaded Program version?
If its browser based you will see your main browser window around the experience and the icon in the lower start bar will be of your browser rather than the teams icon.
