Great information. TFS. I am a retired media specialist and so many people have no idea about copyright laws and how many companies will search the internet for copyright infringement. Disney is notorious for charging people for infringement and their fines are substantial. As it should be, anyone who creates something should be compensated for his/her time, talent, work, and product.

Thanks for the lovely comment, it means so much coming from someone with your expertise. I agree, it's very risky business especially in a digital age.

    Awesome video!
Copyright infringement is one of the expensive exceptions to the saying “It is easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.”
Creative Commons Licensing is much more user friendly and more comprehensive for creators than the archaic Copyright system.

How does it apply to the license circuit Disney if I buy it ? Help

That's covered under the angel policy. You're able to make finished crafts with the content but you can't sell them. Hope that helps! ☺

How does this apply to say the mini food packages I’ve seen in your other video? Hypothetically, if I made mini food with name brand packaging would I need to get permission from the company before selling it?

It's a bit of a grey area because it could be seen a transformative and you could argue you're not in direct competition with a chip brand for example. However, if you made miniatures that were the same as those featured in mini brands then this is direct competition. It's not always clear cut so it's something you should personally research or seek legal advice on. I'm definitely not a lawyer so take this advice with a grain of salt.
