Up until quite recently, I had a near crippling fear of flying. It’s only through creators like MentourPilot, GreenDot aviation and yourself have I turned that fear into an absolute aviation obsession. I love these videos. So informative and great to see the human side of flying. Keep up the great work my friend 🙌🏻
thanks for the insight! I just had my second solo traffic pattern flight, and was constantly cursing out the wind during final, as it was super gusty and unstable with thermals.
Loved the video pascal. Great information, something I can understand fully. You inspire me. everyday to become a pilot. Continue to upload these amazing videos.
Thank you, such a great informative video. I was speaking to a Qatar pilot yesterday whilst we’re on holiday in Houston, he flies the A350 and he explained what the ‘retard’ command is all about, I could have talked to him for hours, but my wife wanted to go! Please keep them coming they’re so interesting!
Based on past experience, deploying the speedbrakes causes minor vibrations, usually more detectable if sitting near the wings. Not very uncomfortable, but certainly bizarre.
Hey Pascal, My dream is to become a Pilot and my high school internship (it’s 3 days of joining someone on their job) and I was wondering if my cousin is a Captain at Transavia do you know anything about the rules of jumpseating inside of Europe and if she could take me with her in the jumpseat for 2 or 3 days? Thank you and love your videos❤
Why or how does the A330 almost always land smoothly compared to other aircrafts? Does it have better floating or gliding capabilities compared to the other aircrafts? I also heard the a330neo even enhaces that effect
@@Pascalklr Thanks a million, I'm not sure which training software ur talking about but I do think that u mean the provided software after paying for the DLR. Wish every one the best!!

What lights do pilots switch on after gear down? Are they landing lights? Cause i know landing lights comes on below 10000 feet. Or are there extra lights? Cause they seem to push or flick more than one switch
After gear down the procedures say arm the spoilers, checking that the Autobrake is selected and then switching NOSE Gear Light on T.O position and RWY TURN OFF lights on the ON position. And yes you're right the landings lights are switched on after passing FL100/10000 feet. Hope this was helpful.
@@klappspaten3211 oh I see, so if I'm correct, the nose landing gear light switch is different from the landing light switch, and which ones are the runway turn off lights?🤔
@@kwasisb5390 Three different switches. In the A330 the landing light is one switch with an on and off position. The runway turnoff lights has also just an on and off position. And the Nose Gear light also called "taxi light" has an "off" , "taxi" and "T.O."(takeoff) position. Once you're entering the runway, regardless of wether you're landing or taking off you use the T.O. position of the Nose Gear light. Once you're on an taxi way the "taxi" position is used. The Runway turnoff light is basically used when ever the Nose Gear light is switched on regardless of its exact positon.

Its always a great day when Pascal uploads
Thank you ♥
My pleasure! 🙌✌️
It seems that professional pilots are always exactly on centerline when landing. Did you ever struggle with this as a learner pilot?
He is a professional pilot 😭
@@FlyMarabuDavid is asking if Pascal struggled with aligning the plane centrally when he WAS learning to fly.
💀
Of course, during flight school you learn all that! There were one or two or three landings not perfectly on the centerline! ✌️🙂

I have flown quite a bit in the US. I often wonder when and what the pilots are considering on both take-off and landings. Thank you for the insight.

Very nice bro! Im planning on becoming a Lufthansa pilot in the 787, how long have you been a pilot?

awesome video man❤
Thanks 😁
Great team work there ! Do you guys have to do autoland at least once a month like airlines make their pilots do?
No, we do train it in the simulator ✌️

Hi pascal really enjoyed the video 😊,, i have a question are pilot sponsorships good, provided by airlines or its a trap
I would say they are the cheapest way to get in the cockpit. Definitely not a trap, at least not in Germany ✌️🙌
I'd love to be a passenger on one of your flights.

It is easier to land than a B737 but it’s definitely not always soft. I think the bogey beam definitely helps with the softness ✌️
@@Pascalklr well pilots seem to land it softly than a 737😂😂
Hi Pascal, I do have a question is the software which is provided by the DLR show what is my mistakes and how to solve them?. I’m getting nervous 😬
isn't the "2500" also to let you know that the radio altimeter is alive?
Is there another Q&A planned soon?
Good idea ✌️💪
👏
Hello Pilot PascalKlr I hope ur doing well. I have a question. Can you become a pilot if you stutter?
Thank you
I'm having my DLR test in june in order to apply for EFA any tips pascal?
Preparation is key for the DLR, go through the training software as often as possible! That’s the only Tipp I have. I wish you all the best 🙌💪
