Just tried the first one pot and oh my the sauce is so rich, the pickled onions give a lovely sharpness and the dumplings are just beautiful. Will definitely be having this again!
Glad you enjoyed 😀
“How dare they not believe me, I FEED THEM EVERYDAY !” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 too funny
Lol EPIC....
Lol...he took it personal.
Olly screaming about leeks and Wales and then Gaz's bit about drums and then the freaking Titanic recorder OH MY GOD i was crying laughing. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun with this video, haha!
“how dare them not believe me, I feed them everyday” I LITERALLY ALMOST SPAT OUT MY TEA LAUGHING😂😂😂
These look so perfect, thank you once again for an amazing video Gaz♥️
Best line ever!
Omg, I laughed so hard 😂😂😂 #feltthat
No the best part: I'll ask my Mom
Wearing burberry while cooking AND chopping onions while looking away. Thats some serious confidence
what is a burberry?
@@MrJakson112 Burberry is a luxury fashion brand, although Gaz doesn't strike me as the type to wear that label. LOL
I just cooked this for my wife and we are both completely blown away!! We’ve never had celeriac or that brand of sausages, but your directions and choice of ingredients is fantastic! Thank you very much for the delicious meal! 👏🏻🤘🏼
Take a shot every time Gaz says "umami"
Instructions unclear. Got drunk after 30 seconds
😂😂😂
or when he says 'flavorinz'... love it
this channel is getting higher and higher quality 10/10 drumming lesson
the editing is soo funny. Your vids are entertainment AND insightful
I agree! I just found his channel and I like how he makes little jokes throughout. Keeps it fun and entertaining
I have made both of these sooo many times over the last couple years...I add lemon zest and capers to the kale butterbean 😊..beautiful
there’s so much personality and joy in this, love it!
The leek flying everywhere is so relatable! No matter how many knife/cutting technique videos I watch, my stuff always rolls off my board while theirs don't :/
It felt good to see that I’m not the only one with that issue 😂
I genuinely don't understand how anyone can dislike any of Gaz's videos. The editing is spot on, personality light, and the food is absolutely mouthwatering. I always look forward to your videos and seeing what your cooking next!!!
My fiance made us the 3 course meal for our valentines dinner. No joke we have that white bean manicotti dish at least once a week. All of our friends love it, he made a 3x batch and brought it into work yesterday and everyone loveddddd it. Even the pickiest one.
I love that the second recipe is so simple! Definiately a weekday meal, while the first stew with the dumplings can be a weekend treat!
Such a funny one, the titanic flute just cracked me up!
So I know this is hard to believe because you have SO MANY amazing recipe videos but this is actually my FAVORITE! DUMPLINGS ON STEW! YUMMMMMMMMM
This is the first time I’ve seen celery root in an English speaking recipe video, and I’ve seen many. I wonder why it isn’t more common.
In Germany, usually the root is what is referred to as celery, while the stalk is what gets further specified as celery stalk. That’s because we use the root much more often here than the stalks.
Just an interesting cultural difference I guess.
There’s also a type of vegetable called Kohlrabi in Germany that never gets used in the English speaking videos. If you can get your hands on it, try it, it’s delicious!
Hoi my german fellow
Ich hab Kohlrabie und Cellery auch noch nie in englischen Kochvidios gesehen... aber auch nicht in deutschen. Ich glaube die beiden sind einfach nicht so kochegen.
Hey!I'm English and use celeriac a lot, love it....not tried kohlrabi yet but it is available in small Asian markets here...any tips for use?..thanks 😊
@@sandrine4971 Kohlrabi is really nice peeled and raw, you can roast it with some other vegetables (I personally like it seasoned with rosemary and thyme) or you can just cook it and have it with potatoes and a creamy sauce
When I tell you I almost choked on my own laughter when the black and white moment came “how dare they not believe me, I feed them everyday!” HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
i DIED 🤣
All your recipes are lovely and delicious 😋 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a wonderful day everyone 🌻
8:40 This looked SO good and comforting! I am definitely preparing that dish for my fam when I am back home!
Man I am seriously drooling over this 🥴 That stew looks like the kind of meal we all need on a cloudy Sunday afternoon. Thank you for another great video 😊
I love how calm this guy is.
i've been a vegan for over 35 years and Gaz oakley is a true genius of vegan cooking and i pretty much never use the word genius although i've worked directly with 3 nobel prize winners in the sciences
Thank you John
Wow so kind John.
Your cooking is so elegant and refined to perfection. That is an inspiring gift to us all.
💛
Definitely another two to try out this week. Love all the videos. The whole crew just crack me up.
Ollie shouting will never get old!
Vegetable Atora can be used for dumplings if you don't fancy cheese or chia seeds.
I was dying when the leeks were going all over the place, and that slow turn you did toward the camera when you dropped the garlic clove. There were so many funny bits in this video. I couldn’t stop laughing over the “My Heart Will Go On” being played on the recorder. I swear your videos get crazier with each new one, and I’m here for it!
Also, Olly is adorbs!
Always wanted to know how to use celery root, and now I have a recipe up my sleeve!
You make everything look so beautiful. It's wonderful how you incorporate so many interesting ingredients. You're motivating me to be a more creative vegan as I've gotten lazy over the years.
I love that you mention what else we can use instead of we don’t like an ingredient
I love your videos and recipes. Everything you make looks absolutely delicious. It's also nice to see a fellow left hander.
The Kintsugi style bowl he mixes the dumpling batter in is quite an unsual yet very pleasant and beautiful detail!
I have to say that I stood mesmerized during a part of the video after learning to that Future Sausage (which I had only know as Linguiça do Futuro till now) is sold in the UK...
I'm happy that we Brazilians are sharing them to the world :)
Just had the first pot for dinner, this recipe is just perfect! Loved the idea of putting in a bit of coffee and the dumplings are so easy to make yet so delicious! Thank you for this Gaz!
10 days vegan. I'm super happy for myself right now. It was quite a change going from peacetarian. Cut fish, eggs and milk all at once. I try not to eat tons of premade food now, but I love the Incogmeato sausages... Were they morning star?... Honestly I don't look at the package anymore. I just know what it looks like. And that first stew looks divine!
This stew looks wonderful. Can't wait to make it. If you don't like to use wine, I have found that pomegranate juice (for red wine) or red or white wine vinegar (depending on the recipe) really works better than broth for adding depth and complexity to a dish.
Gazzz YES THANK U FOR THESE loveee the one pot meals so much! Just moved out on my own abs these r beyond helpful ☺️
I just love your videos. You and the crew seem to have so much fun. The bloopers are great. I am definitely trying the 2nd recipe.
Fantastic job as always!!!!
I would love working on his team. Such a fun environment plus tasty free food!
Wow, this is perfect timing, i just finished making dumplings. I'm gonna make Vegan Rich Stew with Dumplings tomorrow. Beautiful😍 Thanks Gaz! 🧡🌱
Made the stew last night; just outrageous. Love it.
In Australia we replace the marmite with Vegemite! ‘We’re happy little vegemites as bright as bright can be, we all enjoy our vegemite for breakfast, lunch & tea...
Is this delicious
This is my second recipe I have tried from you (first was the “meat” loaf) and i must say I am really impressed.
Just took my pan out the oven and I have no complaints...
I bought your cookbook from Amazon tonight because your that good!!!! Ty
I love your videos! Thanks for the recipes I am gonna try it! One question I have when I look at the videos, what happens to the food in excess? Do you throw it away? Would be really a pity
Marmite. Yeah, I ate it on a toast with butter and drank it warm growing up in Sri Lanka. Now they sell them at Fred Meyers here in the US. Nice drumming. You have many talents.
I made a kale butter bean stew but I use purple kale. It was so good! We love it! Thanks Gaz for the beautiful recipe! Have a lovely day 😉👌
each vegetable he brings out he's like "it's one of my faaavvoouuurites!"
I just made the hearty vegan stew. So rich and delicious but so easy. I’m afraid I didn’t make the dumplings but will do next time. We had it with mash potato and tender-stem broccoli. Thank you so much for sharing. 🙏🏻❤️
I finally tried both recipes... they are absolutely delicious!!! I encourage every on to try these... Drooling just thinking about them!!!!
You really have such deep connection and sense of food!! As always so fun and beautiful how you present it to us!! The new white pan looks so super appetizing and appealing! And yesssss LOVE your music!! 🤍🔪🤍🥁🤍🎶🤍🍲🤍🧑🍳🤍🦭🤍🍀🤍
Thankyou for these 2 awesome recipes!!! They are perfect for the cold weather here in CT USA!!! You are adorable!!! I have made many of your recipes always turn out great...especially the seitan...takes a while but well worth it🥰
CT represent 👏
Greeetings from Germany. Love your recipes. I really appreciate your work. 🌱
Lol, funny but the clip of Gaz in deep thought I can relate to!
Meanwhile, the garlic chopping and staring straight at the camara had me scared for a moment.
I'm a fist time viewer, and I must say, I love how fresh and natural your ingredients are, I'm a learning as you go vegan☺️. I'm living in Jamaica, and I'm inspired
I am loving all of your recipes! Just got 2 of your books abs also gifted them to my bestie… she should receive them any day now!! Hoping you be visiting Northern California- would love to meet you live! And bring your dad!
Vegan 100 just arrived! Boie, you DID THAT!! ❤️ It's gorgeous and I can't wait to try these amazing recipes. Excellent work!!
Nooo I missed this live even though I had the reminder on😮 watching now 👌🙂 the food looks absolutely delicious
The kale, butter bean and pasta stew was delicious! This dish will be in regular rotation on my menu. Thanks!
You had me at D U M P L I N G S 🤤 Yummy!
Thank you for offering the written versions of your recipes in this video. Something to get us thru until able to access your amazing cook books 😊
All I need is to taste it. Always inspiring me to try something new.
My wife made the Butterbean kale stew today. It was excellent ty!
I’ve never even considered going vegan but your food has certainly opened my eyes to the possibility!
You the Best vegan cook the i ever seen in my whole Life🙏👍👍👍
Thank you so much is really a joy to see you by your work😍💋💋💋
Best regards from Switzerland😁
I made this and it was a big hit with the whole family so comforting and the dumplings 😍 👍🏽 thanks for the recipe
This looked like so much FUN!!
Kuddos to whoever did the video editing
Have you ever thought of making vegan leg of lamb or vegan cutlets bone and all?
Is there an alternative to bone that you could build seitan around that would also impart flavour from the inside?
I've just started experimenting myself as my partner and son has just turned vegan.
Your recepea really resonate with me and I would love to experiment more.
Okay so at this point I should buy your recipe book just to show my support because you’ve added sooo much joy and nutrition to my life and I should definitely be giving back. Thanks for your work.
Yay! Thank you!
What brand are those sausages? They look yummy.
How can I replace pickled onions? We don't get that here. Will leek do instead? Great recipes! Looking forward to making them🥰👌
every time I see your videos, I always learn of a new vegetable I have never heard of! Love it!
I have never seen such green kale in my life 😍 wow.
OK. The coffee is a bit out of left field, but I'll try anything once. Definitely gonna try this.
I always see recipes with kale in and think yes, this time it will be delicious. I strip out the stems, chop it up a bit n have tried boiling it for a few mins like shown here or 10 mins or more to try and soften it and in either case it basically tastes tough, grainy and generally unpleasant. At which point I go back to using spinach instead. What am I doing wrong?
Same here, maybe kale just ain't for people like us...
I do meat replacements when I have a taste for it. it depends on how often I shop. I usually will buy two per week about it lasts for a couple of weeks depending on what I have on the menu.
Yum!!! Stew and soups with dumplings equals drool-worthy!! Thanks Gaz ♥️🌱♥️
I so wanna see you doing vegan low carb preps! That's a great challenge
Winter meals...haha it's spring now! Time to break out the fresh, green , colourful meals!
Very different casserole! Love it! Love using chestnut mushrooms and can’t wait to make your dumplings.. btw...love your grandma tray you put the dumplings on...
Your videos always make me smile and the food looks amazing ❤
Love to see you having fun!
That stew is next level I am trying that this week!!
Gaz’s inner monologue: “Yeah.. I’m gonna get my drumsticks out.” Dude, I wheezed like never before 😂
Just cooked the first stew and it was really yummy! Didn't expect the cheese dumplings would be this good ♥️
Trying this recipe, is it possible to have the dumplings cooked in the oven separately or does it have to be on top of the stew? If it is possible, would 400 ° and 30 mins be enough to bake them? Thank you
This is, like, the fourth episode I‘d recommend, when showing you ti my friends - it’s an awesome episode, but kinda has a nerdy vibe to it :D but in a totally good way!
Much love from Switzerland
Both these stews blew my mind!
Love love both dishes so much will sure be making them. Thank you Gaz ♥️♥️🔥
Great show guys!
Much love from Switzerland
Could you use nutritional yeast instead of the vegan cheese, and coconut oil instead of the vegan butter?
Oh my G, I never get tired of going back and watching this video! I love the punchline that made me laugh ' til my belly hurts. 🤣🤣🤣 love love love u guyss ❤💋
The edits on this are epic.. Love it!! And the recipes also. 😂👌
