I love the vegan coconut milk whipped cream! It's soo good! I don't buy it that often though since it's not the best for u! Haha. Literally my fave tho! (The Lightlife hot dogs are LITERALLY THE BEST AND EASIEST food to make) Love you Ashley! Hope to meet you one day, ur so sweet!
Thank you so much ❤️ I was using plant based milk for a while and then I went back to regular dairy and my body HATED me for it...learned my lesson and I’m slowly figuring this vegan thing out. This made it so much easier ❤️😭
The Earth Balance butter is so good! I’ve been using it for years and JUST realized it was vegan. This prompted me looking into more vegan/non-dairy options for other condiments & foods! Thank you for the video! Very helpful ❤️
Trader Joe’s has a great almond milk coffee creamer that’s oh so creamy and delicious!! Veganaise (vegan mayonnaise) is a lifesaver for certain recipes!
doing vegan research, planning to go Vegan for health reasons and your channel is sooo soo helpful, feeling like I can do replacements and still be successful. Thank you Ashley appreciate this more that you know
Your videos are awesome, wholeness and balanced vibrations...much gratitude and appreciation for all you do. I'm in NC now, used to be in NOVA (with Trader Joes), haven't seen one since living here haha but I got vegan from time to time. Thanks for the info and keep doing what you're doing!
I actually prefer the impossible burger to the beyond one, but both are great :) also the start of this video almost looks like a gardein sponsorship lmao love this :) will have to look back on this when I'm ready to transition from vegetarian to vegan
To anyone that likes the Impossible foods burger it's tested on animals (check out this for details (Why it's impossible for PETA to get behind the Impossible foods burger at peta.org/blog/why it's impossible for PETA to get behind the Impossible foods burger and there's also a post on Reddit about it too. ) which means it's not vegan and it's based on GMO ingredients( see faq.impossiblefoods.com for details ) while the Beyond Meat Burger isn't tested on animals which means it's vegan and not based on GMO ingredients. So if you consume the Impossible foods burger you are not vegan but plant based.
@@lillee7439 The ingredients soy leghemoglobin is tested on rats the last time I checked rats were animals. We only have the Beyond burger in the UK but if Impossible foods burger did come to the UK I still wouldn't eat because I don't like the thought that the food is GMO ingredients and would rather avoid it while it uses GMO ingredients whether it's vegan or not.
Your make up i so pretty!! The beyond meat hot sausages are my absolute favorite! I make pepper sandwiches out of them with onions and bell peppers!! Thanks for sharing, and for be being vegan!!
Thank you! This is so helpful. I plan to go Vegan for my New Year's Resolution and keep the lifestyle. People think that they have to give up their favorite foods which turns them off for becoming Vegan. I can't wait to try all these products. Doing lots of research and your channel is helping me so much.
tyler there are some tasty and easy recipes to make non-dairy sauces and dips, too. Cheese has additives to make it addictive. That is why it is difficult to give up,. Stick it out bag the cravings will go away. Now when I see cheese I see an oily mess full of abuse. Cows deserve better.
Have you tried the vegan products they're starting to get at Aldi? It's cheaper and it's mostly really good! Only thing is the quinoa burgers fall apart very easily...
Hey Ashley! Can you please do a video about vegan hygiene products that you use?(shampoo, conditioner etc) This is the thing I struggle with because I dont buy shampoo or conditioner cause I live at home(I'm 17) but I don't want to use what my mom used cause it's not vegan.
Molly Compton I am not hurting you, but in my personal experience.. the kirkland shampoo and conditioner and whole foods shampoo and conditioner, it ruined my hair and made it super frizzy.. 😣
Emily Tamasi i get my shampoo and conditioner from lush! you can get packaged bottles or solid ones, which is what i use. they’re really good and make your hair soo soft. i recommend!
I agree with your mom. Silk original soy creamer is the only non dairy creamer I'll drink, and I've tried over a dozen probably. I'm a big coffee lover and i find the flavor of coffee is easily ruined by the wrong creamer. That Silk one though, it's right up there with the taste of regular dairy cream.
You tried the two best Ben and Jerry's but the others aren't really that good. I'd def recommend haagen-dazs dairy free ice cream (my favorite is the chocolate salted fudge truffle) :)
I went half-vegan just a few days ago, and I absolutely LOVE it! I'm sorry to say that I still eat fish and turkey, but hopefully one day I'll go full vegan. I only catch fish with my own hands in Lake Erie, I never get store bought anymore. I've had inspiration to go vegan for years actually, and now I'm so happy I can finally do it! I love animals, and they deserve better. This world needs to change, as in now. The film Earthlings, World of Vegan's channel, Brian May, Gary Yourofsky, and you all are such great examples! Thanks so much!
TwoBrokeWolves * im just saying there is no such thing as half vegan. Its good that they dont eat certain animals but all the animals matter including the fish and turkey they still eat.
@@vincec_1 That's what I consider myself, as I gave up beef, pork, milk, dairy, lamb, etc. but still eat half the other meats I just said. I'm trying to give up all meat completely, but failure is relentless....
These videos are great. I've recently gone vegetarian/pescatarian as I've eaten meat my whole life and wanted to test the waters a bit before I go fully vegan and they've helped me a lot. thankfully not eating meat has just become apart of my daily life and I only slightly miss some things about meat mainly the flavours. My food is kind of boring but I'm learning and exploring.
The best, healthiest alternative to meat for texture and flavor is mushrooms. They give you what the Japanese call Umami. I buy fresh mushrooms, rinse them off, put them in a bowl and microwave for a minute. If you add vegetable broth or miso soup they are even better. I have them with every dinner at home. For protein, learn to eat beans or tofu. Not too many at first. It takes time for your body to adapt. You can use Beano in the mean time if you are afraid of gas.
Pearl Oberlin They say that Oreos are not because they may have come into contact with milk at the factory but milk is not actually one of the ingredients they put in so I think it’s fine.
P.B Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is soooooo gooooood, like you have to try it. Also I love your videos, I’m 16 and I’ve been vegan for 2 years too, and you’re really fun and inspiring to me😍😘
Wow lady! Thank you so much! My wife and I are in our 50s and just started on this vegan journey. You are so much fun to listen to, with such great information. You make it sound so easy. Thank you again!!
Thank you so posting this. Though I’ll never go Vegan. You educated me on a lot of good options to add to my lifestyle. You’re probably 17 now. But you’re soul is genuine and mature, I hope your channel continues to grow. Subscribed💕
I was pescatarian for a year and now have been vegetarian for 2 and today i made the random not so well thought out change to being vegan just like spur of the moment decisions and vids like this fl are going to really help so thank you :)
@John Plum She probably meant that it isn't as healthy as whole vegan foods like beans. BTW another celebrity success story that is similar to Kevin Smith, is Penn Jillette. He lost more than 100 pounds also using the potato only gateway to a vegan diet. He turned his health around, and now is also an ethical vegan, instead of a heath only vegan. The RUclips channel "Krocks in the Kitchen" did the same and lost a lot of weight too.
OK, of course I love this cast!😍 Greatest ideas here: different versions of Kevin as ages for Ramses and Keith as younger Shiro/Aaron, brilliant! This is tied as my favorite next to Rascal's Prince of Egypt cast now.
Thank you for mentioning at the beginning that you do not need these. So true. Esp as there are so many other things that are nutritious and so so CHEAP. Being vegan is great on the pocket as it's honestly the cheapest diet. But yes these are great treat foods or for those who miss certain things. Thank you for the list!
gardein is overall an amazing brand, they have these really yummy chicken patties as a substitute for chicken burgers, they have turkey if for thanksgiving you still wanna be festive, for chicken strips she was talking about those are so good but they also have chipotle lime (AMAZING!), they have veggie burgers + black bean burgers or if you like to make your own burgers and to season them yourself there’s “beefless” ground. gardeins kind of expensive but it’s so good for vegans/vegetarians/pescetarians/red meat free people (lol)
It’s restrictive to people suffering from an eating disorder because it can be triggering to avoid certain foods. If they’re just being lazy and selfish tho then send it

I´m from Germany and in October / November I will be in Florida for 4 weeks..Can´t wait to go shopping and look for this stuff. Thanks!
Sour Cream- Tofurrti Sour Cream is super good! Even my non-vegan friends/family prefers it! Less sour, thicker & super super creamy. 😃
This comment makes me so happy! My kiddo doesn't digest dairy, but loves sour cream. You just saved her belly.
mmm.. Chemicals! Much healthier than cream and cultures.
The simple truth brand at Kroger has good vegan sour cream as well!
Just got some. Looking forward to trying it.
I didn’t know any of this stuff existed!!! I wish they had all this stuff in BC
Ikr I live in BC Canada too so I can relate
Ur so pretty and so positive I like actually wanna be ur best friend😂💗
🥺 love u
Same
Same!
Sameeeee
Yasss love the positive people!!! 😍🥰🤩👏
I actually prefer the impossible burger to the beyond one, but both are great :) also the start of this video almost looks like a gardein sponsorship lmao love this :) will have to look back on this when I'm ready to transition from vegetarian to vegan
shaetasstic I do too, you just cant buy impossible foods yet :(((
@@lillee7439 yeah it sucks, but they're my go to at restaurants that carry it. I'm not sure why they don't sell it in stores yet
David Mcgregor Yes i know it is gmo. However it isnt tested on animals. Please do your research & do it correctly.
Doing lots of research and your channel is helping me so much.
i’ve been trying to go vegan and it is SO hard to give up cheese but you have given some really good alternatives and i can’t wait to try them all
Every time you want to eat cheese, watch the video 'dairy is scary'.
tyler there are some tasty and easy recipes to make non-dairy sauces and dips, too. Cheese has additives to make it addictive. That is why it is difficult to give up,. Stick it out bag the cravings will go away. Now when I see cheese I see an oily mess full of abuse. Cows deserve better.
Nurtitional yeast is a healthy, ethical alternative to Parmesan cheese. For a junk food alternative, try Hippeas cheese flavored puffs.
Have you tried the vegan products they're starting to get at Aldi? It's cheaper and it's mostly really good! Only thing is the quinoa burgers fall apart very easily...
Aldi has good cheap vegan options
I’ve been vegetarian for two years and found it really hard to be vegan but this helped sooooo much thank you!!
Thank you for making these videos. It's been key to getting started eating Vegan. I would be lost without all this info. Your channel is awesome!
You did a great job with this list. Almost all of the items you suggested are staples for me and my family.
Your efforts are much appreciated. Thank you!!
Ashley I love your videos, you make being vegan easy
I love your videos a lot. Thanks for the alternative options!
This was hands down the BEST video I’ve seen for this topic. Thank you Ashley 😀😀
you are one of my favorite RUclipsrs because you are not straightforward with your videos and I love that as well that you are super nice
Have you tried Ripple pea milk? It’s the best I love it so much they have an amazing vanilla flavor!
Chloe Rojas omg I love it to
I guess when I become vegan I’ll try it
well done!
this is valuable info for many curious about the vegan diet and what is really out there..thank you
Hey Ashley! Can you please do a video about vegan hygiene products that you use?(shampoo, conditioner etc) This is the thing I struggle with because I dont buy shampoo or conditioner cause I live at home(I'm 17) but I don't want to use what my mom used cause it's not vegan.
have the same struggle
if you have a Costco membership they sell vegan shampoo and conditioner that's super cheap!!
I made the vegan chickpea chicken salad you recommended. It was great. I can see that becoming a staple.
Izzy Mac Those are amaaaaazing
Also Talenti
Try freezing your own bananas. You will be amazed how good they are. Nice and creamy. Much cheaper and better for you.

Ashley: if you miss...
Love you Ash!!😍😂
I went half-vegan just a few days ago, and I absolutely LOVE it! I'm sorry to say that I still eat fish and turkey, but hopefully one day I'll go full vegan. I only catch fish with my own hands in Lake Erie, I never get store bought anymore. I've had inspiration to go vegan for years actually, and now I'm so happy I can finally do it! I love animals, and they deserve better. This world needs to change, as in now.
The film Earthlings, World of Vegan's channel, Brian May, Gary Yourofsky, and you all are such great examples! Thanks so much!
No such thing as half vegan
@@vincec_1 Chill out dude
TwoBrokeWolves * im just saying there is no such thing as half vegan. Its good that they dont eat certain animals but all the animals matter including the fish and turkey they still eat.
@@vincec_1 That's what I consider myself, as I gave up beef, pork, milk, dairy, lamb, etc. but still eat half the other meats I just said.
I'm trying to give up all meat completely, but failure is relentless....
Moonbeam274 i would just say, dont go around saying your half vegan because its not a real term
This was actually a very informative video some of the products I was def aware of, while others I was not. Great job!
You can use Beano in the mean time if you are afraid of gas.
hey you should do a video on vegan snacks that you wouldn’t think were vegan, things like oreos and stuff:)
oooh good idea!!!
Oreos are vegan?? Yesss
Pearl Oberlin They say that Oreos are not because they may have come into contact with milk at the factory but milk is not actually one of the ingredients they put in so I think it’s fine.
I really needed this, thank you ;) and I’m literally obsessed with your channe 💓
you’re a lifesaver
P.B Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is soooooo gooooood, like you have to try it. Also I love your videos, I’m 16 and I’ve been vegan for 2 years too, and you’re really fun and inspiring to me😍😘
Wow lady! Thank you so much! My wife and I are in our 50s and just started on this vegan journey. You are so much fun to listen to, with such great information. You make it sound so easy. Thank you again!!
You will be glad you switched. I am in my 60's and feel years younger now. I used to have chronic joint pain. Not now! I have a lot more energy too.
No excuse to not be vegan anymore ! Love all these alternatives ❤️
Their still is sum but the majority of them are gone.
There are reasons, but people should do what they can, even if they can’t go fully vegan.
My country has like 10% of these alternatives 😥
same :(
Me too, they are also pricey
What country do you guys live in ay
Thank you I’ve been vegan for some time now I’m tired of eating healthy all the time 🤷🏽♀️😂❤️
if I've ever seen a whole MOOD omg
Vloggrl Nii theres unhealthy vegan food tooo
im vegan but im still really unhealthy lmaooo
She said Oreos are Vegan.
Did anyone else see the how the tree is shaped like a “v” for vegan lol
Yes...I noticed that too. 😊
@@lovinmylife5915 good eye
😂
yess i did
Whaaaat!
Y'all vegans got supervision lol 😎
BEYOND MEAT burger is delicious, but only once in awhile.
Can you do vegan gluten free options?!
Yea carnivore diet
OK, of course I love this cast!😍 Greatest ideas here: different versions of Kevin as ages for Ramses and Keith as younger Shiro/Aaron, brilliant! This is tied as my favorite next to Rascal's Prince of Egypt cast now.
hey I just want to let you know I am going vegan too and I really look up to you I love you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!
New Subscriber. Beginning my journey to becoming vegan, thanks for all the tips. 📝
thanks for making my life a bit tastier, keep up the great work
gardein is overall an amazing brand, they have these really yummy chicken patties as a substitute for chicken burgers, they have turkey if for thanksgiving you still wanna be festive, for chicken strips she was talking about those are so good but they also have chipotle lime (AMAZING!), they have veggie burgers + black bean burgers or if you like to make your own burgers and to season them yourself there’s “beefless” ground. gardeins kind of expensive but it’s so good for vegans/vegetarians/pescetarians/red meat free people (lol)
i've found canned jackfruit at Albertson's just for anyone who doesn't have a trader joe's near them
What states has Albertsons? What state so you live in?
tf is an albertson lmao
aaliyah bx my thoughts exactly
aaliyah bx its similar to Safeway
if anyone ever try to tell me that veganism is restrictive again ima just send them this video
It’s restrictive to people suffering from an eating disorder because it can be triggering to avoid certain foods. If they’re just being lazy and selfish tho then send it
