It looks awesome! It needs metal stamped numberplates, though plastic ones don't look right.

I also have a 200tdi which I am currently rebuilding on a new galvanised chassis and now considering an M57 conversion now that it’s in bits! By any chance did you draw up your engine mounts or did you simply offer the engine in and make them that way? Did you use a 200tdi bulkhead?

Did you have to cut and weld the chassis? What engine type is the chassis?

We got a galvanised NA/200tdi chassis - but just at the side of the engine mounts is a series of holes that you can use to bolt a steel plate to - then you weld brackets from the plate as to not damage the galvanising on chassis! So can be returned to standard if needed (think marssland call it the universal chassis)

I'm sure there are loads of variations, but broadly what does this cost? I've a 1983 110. Simon T

Early 110 had about the best engine in them!!! Why change? Nothing else on it can cope!! Sorry strange rovers don’t do it for me.

      Underpowered, especially when loaded.
In Australia, the 3.9 Isuzu was offered because the 2.5 were not up to the job for the Australian army.

@@nnoddy8161 There was a urbocharged engine also, if I recall. That would have been more than enough!

      @@nalinfernando8093 correct, Isuzu 4BD1 and 4BD1T (turbo).
