Instead of doing all this process just right click on >> this pc >>Manage >> Device manager >> display adapters and disable intel hd graphics.... thats it..its working for me

I simply create a txt file as you mentioned..in desktop...put name "cuda_supported_cards.txt"..I opened the file..and wrote..my card's name GeForce GTX 660 ti...closed the file...saved...I cut it and pasted in the premiere´s folder. Bingo!!!!...ENABLED ! Only this..with no need REGEDIT.But your video was a big help for me.Tks..and I´m Subscribed.
After doing modification in Registry Edit, it began to show the GPU. Great ! Thank you so much !!!

FOR WINDOWS 11 USERS if you cant see no cmd just type cmd On the adress bar where you see " this pc>local disk >program files> ......"
in REGEDIT-vendors-I have only 2 options available not the one which u changed the value for...is it coz I have AMD radeon graphics card.

It works on 2020 and search gpusniffer in folder of Adobe premiere Pro and run as administrator and problem is solved

+Felipe Gomez i say and recommend u to be on windows 8 only. Bcz windows 10 still has a lot of bugs. If u a more latest pc like having all the latest specs then only u shud upgrade to windows 10. I have upgraded to windows 10 bcz windows 10 is developer friendly. A lot of things can be done on windows 10 with ease if we talk about development. But windows 8 is still more fluid experience than windows 10.

Just type "Capeverde" and the name of your GPUs, for me its "Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600" and then "AMD Radeon HD 8750M" and the last line is the same with this video which is "Broadwell GT2"
I put this in mine:
Capeverde
Intel (R) HD Graphics 4600
AMD Radeon HD 8750M
Broadwell GT2

How does your premier pro load so fast? Mine takes 10min atleast

I was wondering about the same and then I found a solution. Just google search with your complete Intel Graphic card name
and you will get a window describing about your graphic card. In that check for CODE NAME that is where you get the name of your intel graphic card.
Example:
For me it was "Intel(R) HD Graphics 520"....soo I googled it and in codename I got Skylake GT2...so I have to type Skylake GT2 in place of Broadwell GT2 when Im doing for my laptop.

I have Nvidia GTX 970 - and couple of times it happened the GPU acceleration randomly to stop. I've been trying many ways but nothing seems to help. When i suddenly opened my creative cloud application and everything went back to normal. I don't know what's the connection but it works. I tried it couple of times.. with closing and opening the creative cloud.
