How to Enable OpenCL GPU Acceleration in Premiere CS6 Mac Mercury Playback Engine!
This video is about how to activate GPU Acceleration OpenCL in CS6 on mac OSX any version. This was done with a Sapphire VaporX R9 290 on a hackintosh using Mac OSX 10.11 El Capitan.
If you have an ATI graphics card you need to modify the opencl_supported_cards.txt file and add the gpu name which is found in GPUSniffer.
If you have a Nvidia graphics card you need to modify the cuda_supported_cards.txt file and add the gpu name which is found in GPUSniffer.

I recommend using the HW acceleration of the H.264 or H.265 engines. They are much faster, than any GPU!

I followed all the steps, found all folders, have the NVIDIA GeForce so put it in the cuda_supported_cards, saved reboot, and still locked. Cannot access the other option. Please help. I have CS6
